Very good

Very comfortable beds & pillows

The only thing we didn't like was the fact there were no outlets near the bed. We had to charge our phones over by the desk.

A great bijou hotel in a fantastic location !

The location was great with good coffee shops and eateries and Shelter Island all within walking distance. The room was very clean and airy. The bed was so comfortable and the toiletries provided were great too. The hotel is small and welcoming and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Sadly the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday nights (the 2 nights I stayed) so there was not much going on in the hotel whilst I was there - it was very quiet. I was told that its a great place for cocktails (when open!). It would also have been great to have some comfortable loungers by the pool rather than just upright chairs.

Doesnt feel very welcoming

They clearly put a lot of work turning this into a modern day boutique hotel. The result was cute

It was so beautiful and cute and cozy online, but when we arrived it felt cold and uncomfortable. Idk there was just something off. The restaurant was closed for some reason both days we were there, there was a large leak right when you walked in to speak with receptionist and the staff was just kind of rude. The room itself was a bit empty and lacking. Idk I cant really explain it but you know the feeling of being inside a restaurant after its closed? It felt like that. Seems like it was made to take cute pictures and look cute on the internet but thats it. Not very hospitable.

The rooms and restaurant are stylish and comfortable.

The AC didnt work. The place was slowly dealing with the aftermath of the hurricane, so the pool seemed to need upkeep.

I didn't like that there wasn't a fridge or something to store food and or drinks but we managed.

Relaxing spa vibe

This property is a hidden gem! The spa vibe is amazing! Bamboo and sea grass surrounded the pool giving privacy from the street and feeling of relaxation All the products were eco friendly and the food was upscale organic 10 out of 10

I left the hotel feeling badly about the money spent on the room.

The bed was very comfortable

The price did NOT reflect the accommodations. The general upkeep of the exterior was waning. Pool was dirty, parking was an additional cost even though there was and is plenty of street parking. This stay was NOT an equitable exchange. The location is not the greatest either, good walkability for a few things but not tourism. It's a long expensive ride to see all the main attractions in San Diego. The price should reflect as such.
