Superb

A lovely hotel but lacking some efficiency

A very nice hotel in a great location for visiting Thamel and the sights of Kathmandu. Door staff very helpful when needing a taxi arranging prices in advance.

Very slow check in procedures. On the first night we used the hotel restaurant. We were part of a group of 10 and it took over 2 hours to serve everyone single courses with accompaniments like rice or chapattis arriving half an hour after the rest of the food

Bed not too comfy for my taste, only 1 type pillow. Toilet leaked a little water, great service anf suport.

The property fraudulently charging more shpwing wrong pictures of the room

Staffs were friendly

I booked delux double room. It was better than standard room. But i guess i waa given a standard room. The picture i saw while booking, it was supposed to have seperate living area. Thats why i booked Delux Double room instead of standard room. I show the picture to the hotel receptionist. But she said the picture waa mistakenly uploaded. I have a hunch that the mistake was intentional. The hotel management even did not seem to feel sorry about it let alone compansating me for deceiving me.

Not a five star in service

The hotel is better looking than others in the Thamel area since it doesnt look like a commercial building. The pool area is good to relax and the food by the pool was good except the pizza, never order the pizza, the taste was very bad. Other dishes are still fine, could improve though. The spa is good for the money charged. Beds were comfortable and deluxe rooms are spacious. The staff serving us by the pool is innocent and needs a lot more training.

The front desk staff specially during the night shift doesnt have knowledge about how hotels work. There are a lot of people who need training. Our rooms AC was not working one night, the maintenance guy visited and pressed a few buttons on AC switch, which we already tried and then he left. Nobody cared about it after that and we couldnt sleep properly all night. Front desk staff didnt even bother to call and check if the problem is resolved or not. Breakfast buffet needs a lot of improvement, the food doesnt taste good & the service is extremely slow. Lifts stop with a jerk, we tried to get used to it.

I Myla Hotel is an oasis for a traveler.

I loved the spaciousness of the property, a good buffer from a busy city. enjoyed having the restaurant and bar on premises.

Great hotel, suitable for all categories, I recommend booking it

I like the hotel too much you can find friendly stuff with high skills of communication the accept me when I arrived at 9 am and didnt wait they give me space to choose what I like from room and upgrade the facilities is very good restaurant business center swimming pool park very strategic location and near downtown palace
