Disappointing

We loved the location of The Boathouse and the fact that there was onsite parking available.

The overall stay was incredibly disappointing for the price point. The room was relatively clean, but the TV did not work, there was no ironing board to use the iron, and when I called the front desk (several times) there was no answer. Overall, for a nearly $1200 stay for two nights, I would never recommend this hotel.

Beautiful restaurant, perfect location, wonderful comfortable bedding and mattress and pillows, updated and large lovely

Loved the restaurant and hotel, our room was on 3rd floor an attic room with low ceilings and booked it as a 2nd floor so that was surprising but the bed was SO COMFORTABLE and bedding was fabulous and staff was great and communication was wonderful.

My husband had a carton of milk at breakfast that was curdled and there was no one working the breakfast to speak to. But all other breakfasts foods were delicious and wonderful.

Overpriced, very tired but great location.

The location was great. Parking was good. We stayed in the Wharf House, not the main hotel.

The room was tiny, and hadnt been cleaned particularly well - we discovered someone had left a receipt from June 23 behind one of the cushions! The bed was small and dipped in the middle causing us to roll together. The ceiling sloped on one side and I banged my head - and Im just 52! The bathroom was looking very sorry for itself, the radiator was rusty. The stairs were a bind, we had to haul our cases up 2 floors, although in fairness we were told on arrival there wasnt an elevator. The rooms were paper thin and we could hear the conversation (and the bed creaking!) in the next room. We wouldnt stay again. It was overpriced in our opinion, even considering the location.

Paid over $650 for a dump.

The actual building we were to stay in was very hard to find and it was after hours when we arrived. The staff person was very helpful and stayed on the phone with me to walk me through getting there, then they met us there to give us the card keys.

Extremely expensive and the space was very small. It was in the attic of a building with a window AC unit in the wall.

I will never return and will not recommend this property, ever.

We were placed in a different building which I wouldnt have minded except that the rooms were nothing like what was pictured nor what I thought I booked. I specifically chose this hotel because of its modern design aesthetic as pictured on its website. The room we were given was an old motel-like room with bad carpeting all throughout the building and our room. It was in their other building, above a row of stores. The bed was old, lumpy and uncomfortable. The toilet had trouble flushing, although it was fixed immediately after we alerted the staff. I dont feel that their advertising is fair.

Despite the shortcomings listed above, we enjoyed our stay at the Boathouse

The facilities were very nice. The restaurant was well appointed, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The location was right on the water and enjoyed easy access to the shops and other restaurants in the area.

The dead bolt lock didn't work. The breakfast was not up to par for the price of the lodging. Parking was inadequate. The valets were constantly having to move cars to allow patrons to get in/out of the parking lot.
