    Its a secluded paradise to enjoy in solitude or ready a book with a drink
    Spacious and well designed for a family beautiful balcony and deck with an amazing views of the valley . Team of caretaker and cook were excellent and organised an amazing bbq evening. Beautiful Walks to multiple view points around the valley
    Approach to the villa from the mall road is a steep incline and requires an experienced driver to reach the villa

    I cant stop thinking about The Mellow Cottage. The property is a dream come true holiday. The location is so peaceful and gives such a mesmerizing experience. The cottage is so apt and so cute and comfortable for a family of 4. Every corner of the cottage has been planned and designed so practically. The sit out in the lawn is so addictive and so is the balcony upstairs. One can comfortably prop oneself on those white wicker chairs, pick up a book and forget about the world. The living room and the dining are so inviting themselves. The bedrooms are planned very well and so are the bathrooms. I loved the cute and practical kitchen. Special thanks to Chef Virender and the caretaker Ramesh for taking such good care of us. We were introduced to some mouthwatering Pahadi food by Virender. And it was a pleasure chit chatting with Ramesh getting to know about the local areas of interest. Thanks to his suggestions we could manage going for a few nature walks. Felt at peace being there. My father was accompanying us, and along with my husband and 2 boys, he was also in awe of The Mellow Cottage. Thank you Sumit for giving us this opportunity to spend a memorable holiday in his beautiful place. Thank you Stayvista for taking care of the booking. It was so clean and smooth. Would love to go back again and have suggested this place to friends.

    Great place to stay especially if the whole family is going
    breakfast was great. the cook, Mr Virendar and housekeeper Mr ramesh took great care and cooked food as per our taste and what we asked. We had great home cooked food. the facility also had great collection of books and children enjoyed their stay.
    the road to the cottage is bit difficult but apart from that everything else is great

    Great Stay, Amazing View, Exceptional Cook and Caretaker...4 Nights Here Definitely Felt Short!
    Our stay at Mellow Cottage, Mussoorie was one of the most memorable ones we've had in recent times. The property was every bit like in the pictures on booking.com. Sunset hues in the evening made it totally worthwhile spending every evening at the property instead of outside in the town. Special word of appreciation and thanks to Ramesh and Virender who's hospitality and friendly nature made our stay even more memorable. Food cooked by them was beyond amazing and we are even taking home some interesting Pahadi food recipes and ingredients thanks to both of them. Our 1 year old loved the time spent rolling on the grass lawn and playing with "Donkey" the house dog. We also really liked the amazing collection of books.

    While the outdoor night temperatures are low enough even during summers, the rooms can get warm in the night, and not having any fan becomes a bit uncomfortable. Have given feedback to the owner to get some standing fans installed, and he's been kind enough to acknowledge.
