It was my second time staying at Byparken - the location and breakfast was great, however this time the room not so much. Bathroom/shower has floor heating which is nice in winter.

The room smelled like someone had stayed before/old linens - so not enough ventilation beforehand.

Breakfast is good

Our original booking was for Scandic Byparken. One or two weeks before our travel. I have been notified that the hotel decided to close for Christmas and will relocate us to another hotel. The other hotel is quite a far walk from the city centre. Last minutes notice gives us no choice but to accept the relocation.

Overnight stay in Bergen

Everything was almost perfect,the staff could not have been anymore attentive.

For us the soft mattress on the bed we didn't like,but that was just our choice am sure some people prefer it to be that way than a hard bed.

Would definitely return - a very enjoyable and welcoming stay. Thank you.

Central, excellent service & superior buffet breakfast - more selection than you can think of. It has a luggage room to store belongings until youre ready to leave the city or your room is ready, a taxi ordering machine (07000 taxis are prompt & excellent) & the light rail tram is 30 secs walk away that is every 10 mins & takes you direct to airport (costs less than a bus ride!). Rooms are very comfortable including the bed.

Breakfast end time a little early for me, 9:30 mid-week (10:30 weekends). Rooms could do with a little more lighting.

Great breakfast

a bit outdated hotel; 1 elevator you have to wait for..., , small room, bathroom of 20Y old, ... Everything fine but I didn't expect this at Scandic Byparken at least. Good location near to the busstop to the airport.
