Good location, fantastic breakfast

Breakfast was exceptional and tasty with something for everyone. The room was spacious and clean. The area was quiet, but still only 5 minutes walk from the center.

The elevators were small and slow. During breakfast hours the best option was to take the stairs.

Location was good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We had to change rooms as the one we got had a cracked mirror. The water from the shower leaked into the bathroom and we had to use towels to stop it. Neither the bed or the lounge were opposite the TV....we had to look at it sideways. So, we requested a change of room. The room we were changed into was smaller, but better.

Great stay at Bergen

The location of the hotel was great! even though it isn't in the older center of Bergen, it is located very closely to it so you get to be nearby without hundreds of tourists at your door. It also allowed us to visit an area of Bergen that was beautiful and we wouldn't have known had the hotel not been there. Breakfast was incredible!

It seems the hotel is undergoing renovations. Common areas and some rooms seem to have been renovated but the room we stayed at wasn't. Everything in the room was very old looking, everything worked and was clean but the outdated didn't make you feel that way

Very convenient and good value

Very convenient for the ferry arriving from Flam and also for walking around Bergen. About a 15 minute walk to train station. Great breakfast. Very spacious bathroom and bedroom although bedroom furniture rather dated.

A kettle was provided but no suitable socket - had to move the table and armchair and plug it in on the floor!

A window couldn't be properly close, so it was quite cold in the room. I did get an electrical heater though, which helped a bit, but it was still chilly.
