Very good

The reception staff were excellent. Cleaning staff were good. Breakfast was great.

The restaurant had a limited dinner menu and 3 of the main courses were not available . The staff in the restaurant were not friendly.

Was transferred to Zander K because Terminus was closed for Christmas. I ordered my room 10 days before and got a mail a few days before my stay. Zander K is okay but not what I ordered. I asked to get a room with the same standard as I had ordered but there are no bathtubs at that hotel and the breakfast area is dark and busy.

Very disappointed that our booking had been transferred to another hotel without notice or option.

Very little. They were closed when we arrived.

We were extremely disappointed to arrive at Grand Hotel Terminus only to discover they were closed. A note on the door directed us to their sister hotel next door. Our booking had been transferred and the other hotel was certainly nice enough but it was not the experience or standard we had been looking forward to. We wanted, and were interested in, the history and architecture of the Grand Hotel; that's why we chose it in the first place. If we wanted the modern alternative, we could have booked that ourselves.

10 days before our trip we were informed that the hotel is closed and we have to stay in a hotel nearby. The other hotel offers cheaper, but we did not received a discount or the chance for a cancelation without costs. A strange business behavior - a hotel close ist known longer before. Furthermore, the hotel was still available at booking.com

Even though I had booked months ahead, I was messaged a day before my stay that the hotel was closed and that my reservation was transferred to another hotel. If I wanted the change to be reflected with my bookings on booking.com, I was told I had to contact booking.com myself.

Disappointed

We were transferred to the Zander K hotel next door. Very disappointed as this was modern and we chose Grand Terminus for its history. Our room was half undecorated - ceiling and lights.

The beds were not comfortable - particularly the sleep sofa.

Convenient location. We were lucky and had a free room upgrade, which was not expected. Breakfast was delicious with so many good choices.

Good location, very nice room and atmosphere at the hotel.

There was a Christmas party in the bar/restaurant until 01:00 (or later) which we hadn't been informed about. Our room was directly above the room of the party with very poor noise isolation. Luckily the staff was able to re-house us in a separate building free of charge.
