Superb

It was a beautiful location with amazing hosts. For our first 3 nights in Vietnam, we could not have asked for a better experience. If we ever come back to Cat Ba, Rustic House will be where we will stay.

Good value family-run guesthouse for short-stay

Spacious room, budget-friendly guesthouse. There's a cafe downstairs that serves basic breakfast menus.

The bike rental is cheap but the bikes were old and very beaten, not very comfortable, but did the job for riding around for a bit. There was noise from construction next door at 6 am everyday and sometimes in the evening. Cleanliness could be improved.

We liked it and would come back

Very nice family hotel in the center of Cat Ba. The beaches, restaurants, markets are walking distance. The owners were very friendly and always helping with advice or arrangement. Would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay in Cat ba town

The hotel has nice atmosphere. The view from window is great. There is also free patio on 7 and 8 floor with stunning views. From center of Cat Ba it is 5 minutes walking. The hotel staff is really nice and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast.

There was a dust under the bed. But overall it was clean and they offer everyday room service.

Calm, lovely place to stay in Cat Ba

This was such a lovely place to stay - the coffee shop was so calming after travel in the rain, and the room was massive. It was also the cleanest place we have stayed in Vietnam and the family are so friendly. They helped us book a day cruise and let us stay another night with no fuss when we realised we'd messed up our dates. Also organised onward travel to Hanoi. Overall just a really calming, homely stay.

The lovely family who runs the hotel is very helpful with everything! Great breakfast and coffee Free bicycles to use for guests Very cosy and nicely decorated rooms (we had a nice view of the harbour)

There was some construction going on next door so it was a bit noisy, but only during the day and they did not start too early, so not a problem really

Comfy, great location and good view

Super friendly staff, lovely coffee and great breakfast. Rooms are very good and beds are comfortable. They give you clean towels every day and theres shampoo and shower gel in the room. The view is also magnificent. Also, the 2 rooftops are nice. The top one has lots of space to do a workout as well. Close to the beach and close to the restaurants
