Short but Good!

Everything!

Security of Playacar was a bit aggressive. I would've liked for more direction on arrival or for an airport shuttle. Getting from the airport by bus, or airport shuttle is a bit confusing and upon reaching out to the hotel didn't hear back.

Not a 5 star, avoid!!!!!

Not a 5 stars hotel. Not a 5 stars. It has got the Riu name but not a resort worth the name. Old, mold-smelling rooms. Villas that were bought by the chain and are offered as something that is not the real thing. Far from beach, you hace to take a bus and ride 15 min to the beachclub next to the real Riu resorts. Then the access is like a staff entry passage, only for Lupita "guests". Only one buffet working restaurant, the other 2 are for 20 people and always full. Worst receptionists ever. Worst client service. Added 10k mxn for a 5 yr old child.

The people are great the activities are boring the food is nasty

Its not at the beach the picture shows the property at the beach not true

The food is nasty I spoke with a lot of people and they said all Riu propertys there food is nasty so not stay here

Exceptional

We stayed there for a week and it was amazing. The hotel has a bus that will leave you close to the center and its great if you wanna go to central bus station or to the ferry. The staff was always super nice and kind to us, every day the food was nice and the hotel was organizing new activities by the beach and as well in the hotel- during the day and in the evening. The beach was amazing with clear water and free kayak service.

The front staff members called fenando is rude & unfriendly. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Americans stay away from this horrible hotel.

Service after midnight at the Bar. Just because didnt leave any tips had to be waiting and waiting to take my order. They werent even busy .

Overall stay was really exceptional!!

RIU Lupita was very nice. The staff was professional and knowledgeable. Location was good, great food, all the activities were lovely, and cleanliness was up to par.

The warmth of some of the food could've been better.
