Guests praised the Residence Inn Chattanooga Near Hamilton Place for their great stay, friendly and helpful staff, spacious and clean rooms, and convenient location near the mall and restaurants. The (Read More) breakfast area was inviting with a good variety of food and beverages. However, some guests complained about the cleanliness of the hot tub, noise from outside, and issues with the gym equipment. Overall, most guests enjoyed their stay and would return to the hotel.

The lobby looked nice. Staff greeted us kindly. Room was clean

When entering the room, everything looked nice and clean. The problem began however with the bed. It was clearly worn out and sunken in on one side making it extremely uncomfortable. WORSE though was the fact that when we left for the day someone had been in our room. We returned to the TV on, a drawer left pulled open ( that we had not used) and food items missing from the refrigerator. Obviously, the food items are not a big deal financially but the violation of privacy when we didn't even ask for house keeping is appauling! Needless to say, we will NEVER stay there again.

No room service

Stayed at this hotel for 5 days. Breakfast was good.

Not once did anybody do any kind of room service. Had to replace towels and trash bags myself. My bed sheets never replaced at least once during my stay. What happened to any kind of room service? I was disappointed especially because I expected more from a Marriott brand.

Location was good.

For a Marriott it was a little rundown. You paying for the name. My room was decent. Furniture was worn. Broken closet mirror. Overall it was ok.

I like the staff they were courteous and professional

The bed was rickety made noise every time I turn or moved on the bed and the refrigerator had a humming sound all night very difficult to sleep. The sofa although on the surface, you could not tell that it was dirty, but I use a white face cloth to wipe the sofa, and it was dirty. Pillows smelled as if someone had slept on them. I traveled a great distance and was going to be there less than two 24 hour days sleep was very importantI plan to make a complaint after I returned home.
