Excellent place to stay

Absolutely great place to stay. The wooden chalet like decor was very charming, and had nice garden space. The location was excellent, less than 10 minute walk to the Grand Hotel. The room was large, very clean, and had big comfy beds. The bathroom was clean with a huge bath. Varied breakfast.

Very good

A great base to visit Nuwara Eliya

Our room had a mezzanine level for the twin beds which my son loved. The whole room and the bathroom were spacious and well-decorated. The staff are welcoming and helpful and a free pool table kept my son entertained.

The stone bathroom floor was constantly damp.

Horrible only staff are nice the rest is horrible

All the hotel is made from wood incase of fire everything will get burn quickly, not clean at all, the breakfast buffet was poor , the donuts was having fibres , when my daughter walk on the floor her legs turn on black , the smell of the food reaches your room , it not worth the money we paid

Good hotel in Nuwara Eliya

Nice place and nice set of staff. We enjoyed the breakfast there.

I expected proper heating facilities there than a portable heaters provided. They dont do the job, also this hotel should consider providing slippers to wear and also cloth hangers etc.

Better find a different place for this money

Great location, but wooden house in reality is a cement house with fake wood. Beware of 1st floor - super cold and the window faces the wall with 3ft distance, breakfast is very poor so better find something outside. In general for this money you can easily find something different. The staff is non cooperative and rude

Not the best place to stay

The beds were comfortable to sleep.

There was no view for the rooms. Felt stuffy. Some room amenities were missing. The bathroom fittings were loose and the service was poor during breakfast.

Bathroom is too small Bath is shredding coating Bed blanket (the thick one) should be replaced. It does not feel hygienic.

Cozy stay @ Queenswood cottage

I had a wonderful stay with my family, and I would like to give a special thanks to all the friendly hotel staff. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of varieties. The location is great, since its located in the city center. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely come back here if we are in Nuwara Eliya.

Exceptional

The take away breakfast boxes they made as we had to leave for Horton plains at 5 am was one of the best surprise. Their breakfast is a set menu which you have to select from but they surprised us with many more things. The hotel has good facilities.

The fish in the fish tikka gravy we ordered for dinner was chewy but other than that they were spot on.
