It is a new property, very centrally located. this is a big plus. the rooms are extensive and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. the staff is quite hospitable. I would surely consider staying here the next time too.

The staff at the Queensland Hotel were extremely friendly. The rooms were comfortable for our one night stay. Breakfast was a highlight.

Good option in Nuwara Eliya

Very nice (and big room). Not right in the center of town but not too far away - so its very peaceful. We left early (5am) to do the Worlds End hike and the staff made us a nice little takeaway breakfast bag for the road.

Exceptionally good stay. Happy with all arrangements

Very clam and quiet location and an ideal place to relax. Middle of the town has access to anywhere. Staff was exceptionally helpful for elderly ladies who went with us. Very clean rooms, good food and worth for expenditure. Also arranged a barbecue on our request at short notice without any negative attitude. Spent a good & relaxed vacation.

Our family of five had a comfortable stay in the family room at Queesnland Hotel. The room offered a stunning view of lush greenery and fog-topped mountains, setting a serene backdrop for our vacation.The absolute highlight, however, was the private tour to the owner, Mr. Prasanna's estate atop the mountain. He took us on an exhilarating off-road adventure in his Hilux SUV to his farm, situated at one of the highest peaks in the area. The farm was a delight, with a variety of crops like beets, leeks, carrots, and zucchinis (Mr. Prasanna kindly picked a large yellow zucchini for us to enjoy during the tour), tea plantations, and potatoes. The panoramic view from the top was simply breathtaking.I highly recommend asking Mr. Prasanna for this private tour when you stay here. Although he initially refused payment, the three-hour tour, complete with an off-road mountain ride, was invaluable. We insisted on compensating him and suggest you do the same. We strongly encouraged the owner to include this tour as part of a special accommodation package. Trust me, it will be a highlight of your trip to Sri Lanka and an educational experience, too. Don't miss the photos of the scenic views and farm attached!

Superb

Lovely stay

The staff were so helpful and accommodating. We had a fantastic Sri Lankan dinner cooked by them. They were able to do our washing, and they were happy to accommodate anything we needed. It was a 20 min walk or so to the lake, and 20 minute walk to Victoria park. Or 300 LKR if you needed a tuk tuk. We stayed with young kids, and the kids enjoyed watching the pony on the neighboring property.
