Amazing soft bed and fantastic owner he couldn't do enough for us he ordered tuk tuks bought our train tickets and walked us up the stairs everytime we came back And what can I say about the views ......STUNNING its got to be the best views in ella

Could do with some bleach on the bedding and towels although obviously washed some of the white linen were stained

Given the price as compared with other places in Ella and the stunning views, I would stay again!

The views were absolutely breathtaking and it was good value for money given other places in Ella are less affordable. The Sri Lankan breakfast was really delicious (though I wouldn't recommend the western breakfast here) and the laundry service was affordable and very convenient. It was a decent location given the price, with the walk back from town only taking about 7 to 10 minutes. Just a note: if you are not comfortable with lots of stairs, this wouldn't be the place to stay. I didn't mind it because it led to such a great view but accessibility wise, it is quite a hike to get up to where the rooms are. Another note is that the bathroom is set up so there is no physical separation between the shower and the toilet and both the bathroom & the bedroom have default blue lights that you can change to yellow/white lights upon a second flick of the switch; not a problem for us but some might mind this.

There were many ants in the bathroom but I didn't necessarily think this was due to lack of cleaning but rather the area being very mountainous & forest-like. However what I do think could use improvement is the unfinished nature of the room: there was an old, unused TV mount with cables hanging down from it over the bureau that should probably be removed. There were also someone else's small trinkets/belongings in one of the drawers that had not been removed. So in general there could be more attention to detail when cleaning up the rooms in between guests.

Could have been great of the breakfast had more choices

Very good location with great view. It was very close to town. Very helpful & polite staffs made our stay comfortable.

No major complaints there were some insects here & there. I guess it is quite common in such places. Otherwise it was good. Due to small crowd, doesnt have much variety for breakfast. Thats not expected though.
