The hotel is well maintained and everything was perfect. Since we checked in very late around 10 pm,Manoj ji ensured all the checking formalities to be done quickly, so that we can quickly rush to our room for dinner.He also gave us some extra time for check out. Special thanks to the staff too.

Excellent stay and choose this property in our next visit.

Excellent location, heart of South Kolkata. Golpark is 5 min walk and Gariahat 8 min walk. Rabindra Sarobar lake is 5 min. walk and good for morning walk. I used to go everyday. Major branded restaurants are within walkable distance. Complimentary Breakfast although Vegetarian but changed everyday and freshly prepared. Manager Manoj ji and caretaker Viswanath and other two young guys are very cordial and helpful.

1) May include egg in breakfast. 2) Common kitchen area and Common dinner table are not cleaned frequently.

Wonderful all around experience

Lakeside Suites is a real gem in Kolkata. It's the southern part of the city, which is less busy but well connected by bus, taxi or rickshaw to other parts of Kolkata. There are many shops, tea stalls and eateries nearby, and even phone shops to get a local sim. The rooms are very clean and spacious - both my wife and I had space to do yoga in the room- and there is a shared living room and kitchen per floor. There is freshly made Indian-style breakfast is served every day. The owner Manoj, his son and the staff were all very welcoming and friendly, and also very helpful in helping us navigate things like doing laundry, using train apps and finding things. I have to stress, though, that this place is super clean and there is even filtered drinking water available for all the suites. We had to stay an extra day, and they quickly accommodated us as well. All in all, a really nice experience that in all honesty we were sad to leave behind.

Recommended for a stay at very safe , clean room in a good area at a good price

Its a condo turned into hotel. Spacious, clean and quality rooms + toilets for a condo / house. Very friendly and nice staffs. Good breakfast included in the stay. Have lift. We could do late check in at 2 AM too. Good location too. And good price.

Tidy, secure hotel with spacious rooms

I found the hotel clean, and the room spacious. It's also on a main artery that takes you straight into Central Kolkota. Breakfast was included, although I didn't get the chance to try it.

The bed was a bit too firm, which made sleeping difficult. Although I understand that this is how people in India prefer them.

Location is the key and the rooms are quite spacious..

Breakfast was basic.. poha and bread butter.. tasted good though.. Rooms were nice.. kitchen was yet to be fully functional and hence only basic breakfast provided.. staff was quite helpful and attentive. Authorities were kind enough to allow us to keep luggage in safe place even after check-out.. we wanted to go site seeing in Kolkata during the day..

Little more of maintenance.. like door hinges, peeling laminates, bathroom taps etc were loose.. can be better maintained.. staffing is lean.. can have one or two more people for room service / house keeping.. current boys were running around for all customer requirements..
