Karma is a great place to stay in Thamel when travelling in Nepal. The rooms are clean, beds comfy and bathrooms are nicely fitted with hot showers. There are balcony areas to sit for a beer or a cup of tea. Airport pick up was a bonus!

Handy location. One of our two rooms was quiet

One of our rooms was above the street, and it was noisy all night. But the biggest downside for us was the shuttle pickup from the airport.... very convenient for us when we flew in, but the driver had an absolute speed deathwish. Very scary drive, despite us asking him to slow down. He needed to get back to the airport to pick up some other people, but this didn't justify his terrible and risky driving

Perfect location, nice breakfast.

The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is plenty and they have variety of food. Clean and comfortable bedrooms with hot water all the time, a bit issues with the wifi but nothing to worry if you tell the staff, they always help. Location is just in the centre of Thamel, it could be a bit noisy sometimes at night. But other than that is just perfect.

Sometimes is a bit noisy ay night.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown
