Very good

Great homestay for a first-time visitor with delightful hosts

For a first-time visit to Sidemen, Jana's Homestay is excellent. However, it is on the main road through town so conversation in the warung can be tricky at times. My tour of the rice fields was organised with no fuss, the food was great and my room was vast and comfortable. The rooms are at the back so they're relatively quiet at night. All the hosts were charming and helpful.

Highly recommended!

Absolutely lovely place to stay! The room ist beautiful and very spacious. Breakfast was very good. The owner helped with renting a scooter and organising further travels.

It was a really good location, with good bike rental and a nice breakfast. Organisation of the rice field trekking and transport was super easy. Our guide for the rice trekking was great!

Our room didnt get made up at all whilst we were there and due to this, we ran out of toilet paper.

Nice Sidemen Homestay

Nice comfortable homestay. Friendly staff and good value for money. Also we were able to do laundry, rent a scooter, and have meals at the place.

We were in the room closest to the road and there is no noise cancellation so best to take ear plugs

jana is such a sweet woman! she welcomed us with open arms and was always available when we had a question or needed help! at some point we got sick (from somewhere else) and she even brought our food to our room when we couldnt leave! breakfast is super delicious and the snacks from the restaurant too (didnt try anything else)

nothing about janas homestay, just disclaimer in general: when we went out in the evening, around 7, it was already dark and many dogs were barking, one even chased us down a path, which really scared us. nothing happened but we just found the dogs more aggressive and territorial than in other cities:(
