The Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa provided a lovely experience with a peaceful atmosphere and timely lunch service. The pool area and lobby restaurants were under construction but were well (Read More) disguised with no noise disturbance. The staff was helpful and the facilities were immaculate, making it a gem in the desert. Despite construction, the resort made it right and provided a great getaway. The service and management were excellent, although some areas like the guest bathrooms and living room furniture needed updating.

They are under construction and everything is subpar - the facilities and the service

The pool and lazy river

They texted no fewer than 5 times asking what time we are arriving and whether we had any special requests. Each time I replied: 4 pm; dog friendly room on ground floor please. Our room was not ready at 4, which is their stated, standard check in time. They said: its stated, its not guaranteed, and sent us away to wait. 15 minutes later, they texted us and a room full of other guests that our rooms were ready so we all arrived at the same to check in and waited in line. The room was fine but not on ground floor so they did not honor our request. When I sat on the bed, my jeans were covered in thousands of pieces of white lint from the shredded bedspread the maids saw fit to put on this newly made bed. I pulled it off, bundled it on the floor, and got a blanket out of the closet to use as a bedspread.

Other than that.. the facility was great!

Kid friendly!

The first secretary Sara.. was not friendly. She stated that my original room would be blocked by a wall due to the renovations. I asked her if she had a room available that wasnt near the construction.. she puffed and unhappily provided me with a room that was out of the construction zone.

THE WORST VACATION I HAVE EVER HAD!

With the exception of its location, my experience has been subpar. I paid $500 per night for a room that overlooked a construction site, featured an overcrowded pool, and offered just one hot tub. The quality of the food is unsatisfactory, and the sole redeeming aspect appears to be the presence of Starbucks. I would rate this establishment as a 1-star hotel, and I must admit that I feel I may have overpaid given that the quality does not align with the price point.

Swimming pool was unclean and muggy. My husband became sick soon afterwards getting in the water and accidentally drinking a small amount of the pool water.
