Quiet location a short drive to Lucca

The hotel is on the outskirts of Lucca which is what we wanted. However it is a bit dated now in the decor. The staff were very responsive to our problems.

The bath plug did not work and then the water was flowing brown. Which was a bit off putting even though they assured us that it was safe to use.

This place was beautiful. Exactly what we thought of when you say Tuscany. I would recommend and would stay again.

We rented a car to easily get to the property and sight see. We wanted something in the countryside that was historical and this place did not disappoint. Its beautiful inside and out. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless. Having your own A/C in the room was wonderful. I had asked them to leave a happy birthday note for our daughter, instead they left a small wrapped present wishing her a happy birthday! We loved exploring the grounds and main rooms. The restaurant they have at the hotel was absolutely delicious. The staff was very polite and friendly.

The staff, eg Cincia, bar staff and reception were outstanding. The gardens were so beautiful, lush and with ample parking.

Attentive staff in a relaxed atmosphere which is a convenient and quiet base for visiting the area..

Lovely garden setting of a traditional Villa Hotel. Excellent attention from all the staff. Good breakfast and dinner was of a good quality and reasonable price. Comfortable beds and we had a modern recently refurbished bathroom (I understand some are older style).

Quirky decor which was probably in fashion about 40 years ago, so a little tired.

Beautiful!! Even in the rain. My husband highly recommends getting a massage. Beautiful grounds for a dog walk :-)

Walking anywhere from there (i.e to another restaurant) is highly dangerous as there is no pavement on the main road which is very busy. The food could be improved.
