A pity we did not book for two nights!

Perhaps the best thing in this beautiful, atmospheric hotel was the parking lot just across the street - something extremely valuable for travelles with car and luggage in Lucca! And the breakfast was superb, also.

Not to be missed. Highly recommended.

Much more than just a bed to sleep on, this is a piece of Italy itself. The plates, each a unique piece of art. The ambiance authentic. The staff exceptional. The breakfast FAR exceeded expectations.

The room was a bit small. We are in Italy and space is at a premium. Yet it was large enough for our needs. Everything is so real, you FEEL Italian. Even the window latches are unique. This is the real deal.

Perfect place, even better if I was there for tourism.

The location cannot be better, the hotel is beautiful and the personnel was extremely kind and attentive. Very nice room fully equipped with Bubble Bath and Shower

Parking is expensive, but I could not expect cheaper to park INSIDE the walls. Restaurant for dinner was closed but there are a lot of options in the surroundings

WE LOVE THIS HOTEL! This is the 3rd time we have stayed here. Amazing location, great breakfast, and wonderful staff. The rooms are painted in beautiful colors. HIGHLY recommend.

Great central location in Lucca

Staff were very helpful and accommodating, orienting us to the area at check in, and answering any questions we had about the town and area. This property had parking which was a big plus. Warning however, driving in Lucca is challenging like any walled city and it took some maneuvering to get down the street to park. The property is centrally located and right off the main shopping and walking street. We could easily walk to many dinning options and everything of interest. Breakfast was very good. My husband loved the fresh squeezed juice and baked apples & I loved the pistachio cream croissants. Also offered eggs and other more traditional European breakfast selections. This property also has a small lift which was a plus.

I marked down on cleanliness only because the halls and rooms look like it could use a new coat of paint and also some bleach in the bathrooms to handle some small mold areas. It is not too bad, but the property just looks a little worn out and could use some freshening. We would stay here again if we were in the area because the pluses were much more than the negatives
