Hotel Genevieve is a surprising gem with dark but charming rooms, great views of Louisville, and a warm shower. The hotel is cute, with a king room, beautiful bathroom, and good service. However, it (Read More)can be loud and lacks adequate lighting. The hotel is visually appealing but lacks certain amenities like a shelf in the shower and daily housekeeping. The on-site market and coffee shop are nice, but the restaurant is untried. The staff, particularly Kelsey, at the bar are friendly and knowledgeable. The vintage look of the rooms and the convenience of valet parking are appreciated. The lack of an ice machine is a minor inconvenience.

The chicest stay in Louisville

I absolutely loved the decor and vibe of the entire hotel. From the wall color to the furniture and the beautiful bathroom and robes, it was a treat to stay here. And for the price, this hotel could not be beat. The bed was extremely comfortable as well! The staff were so accommodating and helpful. The rooftop bar was also picture perfect! The location is ideal in prime NuLu neighborhood with cute shops all around. Highly recommend booking!!

The speakeasy was only open Friday and Saturday nights which was a bummer.

Very good

We celebrated a friends 40th birthday and it was a wonderful location!

I thought the location and the vibe of the hotel were fantastic! Breakfast at Rosettes was very good as well. The room was cozy and well decorated!

The bathroom was SO DARK! It was nearly impossible to see how your makeup looked in the bathroom.

Overpriced for lack of amenities and inoperable items.

Valet staff was friendly

TV didnt work and no one to Assist. Water stations were not operable. .

Very good

Great location. Easy access to multiple distilleries. Loved the liqour store Evergreen liqours next door

Roof top bar was a little underwhelming as they were over-crowded and understaffed. At one point the bartenders friend had to step in to help but was promptly kicked out. Experienced the same understaffing in the speakeasy downstairs

We loved it here. We tend to choose smaller hotels that are a little quirky and this fit the bill just right. We toured Rabbit Hole distillery right behind it and had dinner across the street at La Bodeguita De Mima ( both were awesome). We finished the night upstairs at Bar Genevieve talking with others about everyone's distillery tours, super fun. We'd definitely stay here again.
