Luxury in Louisville with a perfect evening Cocktail

We made a last minute change to stop in Louisville and picked the Galt. It is a beautiful hotel good bars and restaurants. We enjoyed Swizzle and the amazing cocktails. We even got our room serviced between nights ( many hotels do not automatically do that any more).

The hotel was a little confusing because of the size and we parked much further away than we needed to. It is a little thing, but some tips from the front desk on the easier place to park to get to our room would have been helpful because we had bags from our holiday travels.

Hotel room was nice but check in process is always painful

Room was nice and bed was comfortable. We have stayed before and like this hotel

Elevator was down for the parking garage. We had to wait in long lines to get up and down the steps. They were short staffed at check in so the line took forever after having to wait in the cold to go up two flights of steps to get inside. You have to walk over to the other side of the street to check in because they will not staff the other side for check ins

Wonderful get away for NYE weekend!!

This hotel is very clean, has everything there if you dont want to leave but walking distance to 4th street if you want to go out. We have been several times and never had a bad experience.

You simply can't beat the location.

Location was excellent for the Bourbon trail. The staff were attentive and very friendly. The King room was large with a great view. The facilities were nice and clean.

The bedding was terrible. Bring your own sheets. It was like sleeping between 2 shower curtains. The bathroom door had opaque glass, so if you turned the light on at night, it lit up the whole room. Parking was very expensive but you can park ar the Cowger garage one block away for a reasonable price
