Ok but not great.

Central location, clean and good sized rooms

I thought the staff (aside from the folks in the breakfast room) were all a bit surly. No help with bags at the front entrance and staff at front desk were cold. Service in the USA is usually really friendly so this was an unpleasant surprise.

Stay away.

Location was excellent

Staff were unhelpful. We arrived hoping for early (3pm) check in and eventually were checked in after 4pm. Room had broken shower and previous repair attempts were both evident and shabby. To the hotel's credit they provided us a food voucher in light of the broken shower. No luggage trolleys in the morning so had to make 4 trips to and from our room. Will not stay there again.

Super happy customers

The breakfast was excellent, a lot of variety to choose from. The location is great. Close to many restaurants. The staff was exceptionally helpful and professional. My son has allergies so I always carry his food. While checking out I requested the front desk staff I think his name was Rene if he can keep my childs food in the fridge as I had a flight later to catch. Didnt want his food to go bad. He instantly agreed! Hats off! This was our third visit to this location and we will keep returning to this property because of the hospitality of the staff.

Staff and location. As a family of 5 in my booking, 1 bathroom with toilet in one room is a hassle. No extra mirror, only one in the bathroom/toilet.

Great hotel by the ocean but bad rooms

I liked that it was by the ocean

The room was not what I expected, poor lighting terrible view of the fireplace they have downstairs and the manager was beyond annoying you ask him a question and he replies to your questions if you look stupid.

It was close to the airport and convenient to downtown and transportation. The surrounding environment was clean and quiet, and I liked the spa and pool. The staff were all friendly, and accessibility and value for money were the best. The breakfast was especially good, and all the staff at the restaurant were friendly and tried to maintain cleanliness. If I come back to San Diego in the future, this is a hotel I want to come back

I don't have any particularly bad memories, but I was concerned about the soundproofing.
