Disappointing

Impressive modern hotel, but lacks even a basic standard service and so does not come close to justify the cost

Modern, spacious, large bed, view, pool table

There was a lone, young and very inexperienced member of staff. He was nice and was trying his best, but he was clearly unsupported and out of his depth. There was no toilet paper in our rooms, or tea / coffee. When we requested these, he said they had just had a lot of guests so everything was finished. He then asked us for some money to get these items, as he had none! We loaned him the money, but all he did was get all the toilet paper from the other empty rooms. We never got tea / coffee so had to asked for the money back. One night we returned to a completely empty hotel with the door ajar. We could still enter and get to our rooms, but there was no staff so we just waited for about an hour for him to return. At checkout, he did not know how to work the card machine and had to run to a neighbouring hotel to get one of their staff to come to our hotel to make the payment. We were told there was no option any food as they had no chef.

The people were really helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

The rooms could be a little better equipped (f.e. a fan would be nice so have as the temperature is a little colder there).

My stay in Highland

Nice property. Well maintained and it has got good balcony attached with terrace garden. Room is well furnished.

Only thing t didn't like is there are only two staff who takes care of this property. Breakfast you need to tell one day prior and if you miss then you may not get breakfast.
