Guests had a great experience at Hampton Inn Suites Kansas City Downtown Crossroads. The staff was nice and professional, the rooms were clean and updated, and the location was perfect for walking to (Read More) nearby attractions. However, some guests complained about the price on event nights and the cleanliness of the breakfast area. Overall, most guests found the hotel to be top-notch with friendly staff and great service. The parking was convenient and the hotel was within walking distance of the convention center.

Overall it was great!

The location is great. You can walk to T Mobile arena or the Kauffman Center. There is a street car outside the front door that can take you to Union Station or the River Market area. There are several excellent restaurants nearby that you can walk to.

The parking situation isnt great but we didnt have to worry about driving to the basketball game at T Mobile or the show at the Kauffman center. Parking casts 18$ per night.

Comfortable and great location for things to do downtown.

The breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location for the venue was walking to.

The parking lot was less to be desired. I feel there shouldn't have even been a fee for parking either.

Except for the reasons given above, our stay was OK.

Clean and modern rooms. I normally don't like staying downtown in the middle of a city, but once in our room you didn't realize it.

The parking really isn't convenient at all. It's across the road, and the clerk had a hard time explaining it, which caused greater confusion for me, and to top it off, it was cold and rainy. I know they can't control the weather, but with clearer directions I wouldn't have had to go back out in it to repark my car. Breakfast wasn't what I was expecting from a nice hotel. Things were empty when we got down there about 9 (stays open till 10) and in the time we were there, it didn't appear anyone was even attempting to keep it full. I know this is petty, but I paid very good money for a nice hotel, and when I went to the bathroom the stool lid moved around on me. They had a too small plastic stool lid on this nice bathroom stool. Made me leary every time I had to sit on it. This sometimes happens at home, but I have control over that!

Love the convenience of the location to so many things, as well as the KC streetcar stop right outside the front door. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

The lock on the balcony door didn't work so the door didn't seal properly but it was fine, no safety concerns being on the 5th floor.

Albie is great!! He needs a customer service award! We loved our balcony!!

I wasnt sure where to park and ended up calling the hotel after driving around and spoke to Albie. He was at the front desk when I checked in and he was so helpful and friendly. Later, we stopped again at the desk because we had planned to Uber to T-Mobile because we had read that it was at least a 15 minute walk and it was cold. Albie was as excited as we were that we were going to see Pink in concert AND he told us a shortcut so we were able to get to T-Mobile in 5 minutes. He went above and beyond and saved us money by taking the time to share his knowledge with us. Every single worker at the hotel should be as helpful and friendly as Albie!! Thank you Albie!

For some reason we only had one large towel in the bathroom and housekeeping attempted to walk into our room, after only knocking twice, no announcement and it was only 10am. Check out was 11am. Im glad we had the door stopper on or he would have walked right in and we were just getting out of the shower. It definitely would not have been good.

Great comfy place in Downtown KC

Room was excellent! Bed in the room was not against the wall back to the other rooms bed! I value that so much. Room was also big and spacious. Love the built in reading lights in the headboard! Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, seamless check in. No real complaints with this one it is an excellent place in downtown KC!

Traffic on the street below can be a bit loud, but that is excpected for the location of the hotel. I could hear it, but it did not keep me up at night.
