It was a shared room, the person who shared the room with me came a bit drunk in the middle of the night, making a lot of noise, it was difficult to sleep

A nice place to rest with good traffic conditions

Luggage can be kept at the lobby after 8 am. It's convenient for solo traveler. Shinagawa station is very closed to the guesthouse with only a 10 minutes walk. Or the North Shinagawa is another choice which is 2 minutes walk from this place. Staffs working in this guesthouse are all passionate and kind. They are good at English. All of them are bilingual (some of them are even trilingual since they can speak Chinese), so theres no barrier for the conversations. The staffs gave me a map with suggested spots. Visitors can remain one day and follow the directions on it.

You probably will feel noisy if you are distributed to a room next to the toilet.

Superb

Friendly environment: little living area to gather with other guests. Everyone was so nice!

- Stayed on the upper bunk bed but didn't have a plug near my bed to charge electronic devices, they are only on the table of the room but it was a little inconvenient for me. - No elevator: if you have big luggage, this point needs to be considered.

Really enjoyable!

The staff was very friendly even though I didnt have that much time to talk with them. They gave me some great advice to see what was around and they also asked me about my day every time I came back. I also happened to arrive very late because of my flight but the staff still came to welcome me being totally understanding, and I was really grateful for that. Ill probably come here again next time I travel to Japan! Thank you everyone for having me!

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Location was in the middle of historic Shinagawa. You get what you pay for, it was a late booking.

The room smelled funny, like body odor. The bunks had a sour smell as well, either vomit and/or the accumulation of unwashed bodies embedded in the futons. The walls were so thin, you could hear anytime someone opened and closed doors, etc. The first night I was unlucky and heard someone on the same floor having very noisy intercourse. Facilities were old and serviceable. There was only one toilet/shower room for females only on the second floor, which was nice, but at times, there was a long wait time, exacerbated by the fact that you could only use the dryer in the toilet/shower room. There are a couple other toilets and showers available in the basement.

I didn't get the best bed...

Super friendly staff warm welcome and good location.

The bed from room 42 was extremely uncomfortable the mattress has a kind of hole that makes you sleep like a ''V'' shape (not flat). It could have been very damaging for my back before flying off, I didn't notice earlier when the staff was still operating. If you didn't know it's time to change it and if you did know it is unacceptable.
