Fabulous historic location in the heart of Bergen

Fabulous location. Historic building with loads of character. Excellent breakfast. Spacious comfortable room. Relaxing bathtub. Helpful staff.

We enjoyed our attic room, but it was a little bit dark.

Wonderful hotel

Very quaint but warm and comfortable. A real slice of history but with modern details. Our bed was very clean and comfortable and the rolltop bath was superb. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Lots of choice between hot and cold items. Plenty to satisfy everyone. Staff were charming and helpful. We were able to store our bags after checkout too. Centrally located right next to the Bryggen , close to all amenities and the airport busstop. Highly recommended

Lighting was quite subdued and the shower head needed to be held during use. No milk available for tea .

Charming hotel

Amazing ambiance, very friendly staff and the location was just perfect. Spacious and cozy rooms, great shower, loved the water pressure. Wonderful breakfast!

There's a night club right outside the hotel, so if your room is on that side, ear plugs are a must. Pillows are not super comfortable.

The stay was great overall.

The breakfast was delightful, especially the salmon, meat, cheese, and maple pecan croissant. The room was cozy and tidy, and the location is fantasticsuper convenient for getting around.

At night, it got really loud because of people drinking in the nearby bar. Sometimes, it was hard to sleep well with all the noise. The maple pecan croissant isn't available every day, and the elevator is a bit small, making it challenging to use with large luggage.
