Old, tired hotel - over-priced for what it was

The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. There were duvets and blankets in the wardrobes. Also, there was ample parking, both outside and underneath the hotel

The hotel was so tired. The internet was patchy at best and the smart TVs weren't actually connected to the internet (probably because it was so poor). All the furnishings were past their best and looked quite beaten up. The bathroom was poorly laid out - the tap was way too close to the back of the sink, which was set into a.dreadful marble counter - complete with towel rail on the front, which had me folding myself in half to fully reach the basin! Shower over the bath with a glass partition that was useless at keeping the water from flooding the floor. Bedroom and bathroom floors didn't match. Hallway carpets were stained. Pillows were tiny and hard. And the bed only had linen, no duvet - in October, meaning we had to make our own beds, which was disappointing. It's also in a dull part of Toledo, with a bit of a hike to get into the old town
