Location Friendly staff

My 3rd floor request at the time of booking was not taken in charge at my arrival. They had already assigned me a room on the 15th floor even though a room on the 3rd floor was available and was given to me upon renewing my request and waste precious time. The room is extremely tiny that you cannot move. When you are 2 adults and 2 teenagers, it makes your stay difficult.

Great location, bad elevators

Location was super convenient and room had a really nice view of the Empire State

Sometimes you could be waiting for the elevator for a long time.. plus they use the same elevator for cleaning staff carrying huge carts, so it was hard to find space on the elevators at that time.

Good location but the rooms are too small.

Location was central with access to mid town, time square and Chelsea markets.

You could kit swing a cat in he room. The rooms were too small and not correctly represented by the pictures. There was a suitcase stand I. The cupboard but mo where to put it. The bathroom was the biggest area. Room was not made up on our first day a it was from the second day after speaking to the front desk. The elevators were tiny and broke down several times over out week stay. I would only recommend this hotel for Oompa Loopas for munchkins as they would the only people to fit on the beds.

Wonderful attentive and friendly staff in excellent central ocation!

We had a wonderful stay at Double Tree Hilton , Chelsea! We traveled over Christmas as a family of 4, two boys aged 17 and 10. We had two double beds and the room was cosy, but exceptionally clean with wonderful views of the Empire State Building! The bathroom was clean,and the shower was lovelywe had a bath too! The staff were attentive, courteous and friendly. We had a late flight on our last day so we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel at no extra cost whilst we explored the city on our final day. We also requested a late book-in upon our arrival which had been noted through the Booking.com messages beforehand. Breakfast was included and served in a buffet style with plenty of options - pancakes were our favourites!! Location of the hotel was perfect for our stay - we used Penn Station subway daily which was super convenient to explore Manhattan on foot or by subway. As first time visitors to New York City we would highly recommend Double Tree Hilton in Chelsea to anyone! I had read some scathing reviews on here beforehand especially regarding the lift/elevator! We experienced no issues whatsoever and the hotel was super busy with guests over Christmas. Special shout out to Roy (at breakfast!) Kareem and Matthew for the amazing hospitality! Great hotel. We will be back
