Homely ambience. The entrance area of the house is beautiful. The interior decoration is good. The balcony, clear view of Kanchenjunga, lights of Darjeeling city at night look beautiful Staff ,Rita and her husband , Priush are always ready to take care. Rita cooks well.

Warm reception and unforgettable views at Darjeeling B&B

The best thing about Darjeeling B&B is the location. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the place and its clogged Main Street. The view over Kangchenjunga is unbeatable. You never tire of it. The hosts at the property, Rita and John,are very kind and helpful although their English is limited. Rita is an excellent cook. There is also a young man, Rizzz, at hand to help with arrangements.

There is not much I did not like. I would advise people to be prepared to be cold in the evening. As soon as the sun disappears, temperatures drop down dramatically. There is no heating at the property but there are plenty of blankets. The property is basic, there is no shower but plenty of hot water.

We loved the overall place. Cottage is comfy and cosy and rooms are very neat. Namrata (Owner) was very cooperative and responsive. Ritesh was very professional and Rita cooks tasty food. Bonus is the Neo(Cat) whose charm is irresistible.

Just bit far from Mall Road but never the less its a good one time walk in the hills.

Excellent staff. Cordiality. Support. Food cooked as per our home standards. Clean and cheerful interiors.

No lamps for book enthusiasts. Would be comfortable if a few fluorescent lamps are installed in every room for reading comfort. The closets can do with a properly installed rod for the hangers. The bathrooms should have mops and exhausts. Some paddings need replacement in the living room and the terrace. Some of the floor tiles are upended and need replacement. There are some chips in the furniture that can be repaired easily. Otherwise it is extremely comfortable.

Good stay for some quiet time away.

The location was beautiful and not very far from the market, which was one of the positive points. We received a very warm welcome from the owner Namrata. We had the whole place by ourselves so we definitely enjoyed the property the most. The view from the room was majestic.

The caretaker was not the most helpful person around. He denied our request for bread for breakfast and didn't take our calls after that. The place gets dark at night and needs more light fittings especially in room.
