almost perfect!

The breakfast was absolutely amazing! the staff and room as well, very spacious and a gorgeous bathroom with very nice smelling soaps, extremely clean and very comfortable beds. The location was perfect, right in the centre and next to the Banyan Tree hotel where Vertigo is, a rooftop bar where you can watch the sunset over BK

just a really weird entrance to the pool and not enough space around the pool. It was full all the time. The yoga teacher was okay but also fully booked immediately, the gym was packed!

Exceptional hotel and staff

Great hotel with exceptionally helpful and kind staff! We had a wonderful stay and a great start to our trip. We were celebrating our anniversary, so the staff set up a little welcome card, sparkling wine, and chocolates which was a very nice touch. The staff also helped us arrange transportation and provided change, which was very helpful. The facilities were clean. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The spa has bonus facilities (eg pool, steam room) available to guests, and the bath products used in the spa and guest rooms smell wonderful. The breakfast offered through the onsite restaurant was delicious. It was in fact the best breakfast we have ever had at a hotel! The value for this hotel is exceptional, especially compared to comparable hotels in North America. I highly recommend.

The pillows were fairly flat and did not suit my preference or sleep style. The pool water temperature was freezing, and since the pool area is shaded, I was never hot enough to feel the need for such a cold plunge, so I unfortunately never used the pool, just the pool deck. We chose this location and we were happy with it. It is a nice area of the city with many highly rated venues and restaurants. Just beware it is quite far from more touristy attractions. Although it is close to a metro station which was easy to navigate and it was fairly easy and affordable to arrange private transportation.

Disappointing

Fairly disappointing as the hotel is overdue for a refurbishment. The staff however were fantastic

breakfast and pool

My room was very dated . in urgent need of a renovation , painting and refresh. Very old bathroom and uncomfortable bed . The floor rug in my room was also very dirty.
