TOXIC VIBES FROM OWNERS

Nothing, bad hospitality kills the holidays.

I am really disappointed because the place is not bad but the management is horrible. from the min we checked in and all the staff is trained to deny/reject any request. All small requests are denied for no reason. Until one day am at breakfast at a supposedly french hotel owned and operated by french chef and to my surprise, they dont serve bread. they force you to eat a specific 1 piece of brown bread. What kind of silliness is this. Tried to talk to the owner but he was arrogant and didnt want to listen. His partner passed an apology letter with free desert but also wasn't interested to know what the problem was. i cant wrap my head around the fact that a french place doesnt offer pastries/bread. Shame. they tried to blame the problem on the staff and that is a language barrier but its not, its them. LASTLY, the water is coming from copper pipes so they have this horrible aftertaste. Also, the view at night is nice on the pool but they shut down all the chairs so you cant enjoy it.

aircon smelly, asked for a change of room. They just sprayed a lot of odor in the other room but aircon also smelly. Curtain does not fully close which is annoying for a front facing bedroom. Lights near the lock would help to open up the room after dark.

Paradise is a place on earth

This must have been the best Hotel I ever stayed at. Beautiful, stylish, quiet, small. Close access to the beach, with a dreamy infinity pool. It was a treat every day to go for breakfast so close to the sea. The hotel always feels relaxed and calm, never full or hectic. Staff were outstanding. Complimentary yoga was fantastic. I cant wait to go back. Price is a steal for the quality and comfort for a fraction of the price this would cost in Europe.

The hotel i stayed in after Cielo just didnt compare. Once you stayed at Cielo, the bar is high!

Very solid, towards perfection.

Superb boutique hotel. Amazing staff, very good and quiet location. The beach is great. The swimming pool is perfect. Staff is very good, polite and well trained. And not too much. Just perfect. Been in hundreds of (boutique) hotels around the world, and this hotel is definitely in my top 10. Thank you.

Outstanding paradise

From the moment we walked in it was outstanding, the room was spotless, spacious and had excellent amenities. The pool and beach area are amazing, the sun loungers are comfortable. The team at the pool bar and restaurant are brilliant, every morning I was greeted with a smile and my favourite cappuccino with coconut milk. Two staff, Min and Lek were superb, a real credit to the hotel and made our stay extra special, always remembering what drinks and breakfast we enjoyed, explained the fish and food dishes available and spoke about the paddle boarding and kayaking facilities we could use. Excellent location, within easy walking to the fishermans village.

A slice of luxury heaven in the midst of a chaotic island

Without a doubt the best hotel weve ever stayed in. Location was great everywhere easy accessible. Facilities were amazing. The room matches the pictures on booking.com (beautiful), we were very happy with the quality of the room. They offer beach towels in the room and at the pool, they provide a clean toilet area here also. At the restaurant the breakfast was amazing with enough choice, we had this included in our stay, when we were at the pool the restaurant offered a nice menu with drinks/snacks. The restaurant service was perfect, Lek and Min really made a difference to our stay. When we asked last minute for a late check out, it was not a problem. They offered free Kayak/paddleboard which we used, this was a very nice touch. We thought the price was very good for the quality of our stay here.

We loved everything about our stay, a couple of small details would be that the water pressure of the shower wasnt great, on one day the shower area became very full as drain was blocked, this was fixed without having to ask. On one of the days the shower didnt work correctly, after 10 mins issue solved itself. A gym in the hotel would be amazing.
