This is a great place to stay with outstanding hosts and food!

This is such a pretty property and a great value! It was perfect for what we wanted. Linh and her family were so kind, and Linh booked our bay cruise and bus back to Hanoi. Breakfast and dinner were homemade and delicious and we really enjoyed spending some time with our hosts!

Very cozy and homey homestay

This is a lovely and relaxed place to stay. Linh and her family will make you feel right at home. The room is spacious and modern with a super comfortable bed and duvet. The bathroom is modern and clean. Its outside the main town, so nice and quiet, especially at night (its close to the road), but there are still good restaurants close by, and Linh and her family also offer great food. I will miss hanging out with the family, and Ill also miss the yummy pancakes for breakfast and the Vietnamese coffee!

Best homestay in Cat ba

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! This place has stolen our hearts. From the amazing breakfasts, coffees, lunch and dinners we had to the jacuzzi pool and the comfortable beds it was just beyond perfect. Everyone coming to Cat Ba should definitely stay here. They offer laundry service, scooter rental, tour bookings and so much more. Our hearts go out to little baby Bun, Tuan, Long, Manaah and of course Linh and her mother. Cat Bas Best

Everything! The host family were all very accomodating and it has a family feel to it. Food options are good. The location is 15min scooter ride from Cat Ba town, which we found to be the perfect part of Cat Ba island. Quiet, yet close to everything you need. Great value for money and the brand new pool is lovely. Across the road is a restaurant/bar that we recommend Binhs Motorcycles. There are many beaches to go to as well. Our room was tidy, spacious and clean. Great a/c.

What an amazing family to welcome you in Cat Ba ! Homestay is a little bit outside the city (about 15min) but you can rent a motorbike or take the local bus. The beach next door is really nice, has a small local bar and the locals are making a lot of effort to clean it ! Room was really comfortable, I loved it !

An home away from home

Rustic homestay is outside of the main village. I really enjoyed this because you can relax and enjoy the beautiful island. They offer all the trips and you can rent a motorcycle here which is great to explore the island on. The food is homemade and tasty. The swimming pool is super new and has jets for when you need an massage after exploring. But most of all I enjoyed their lovely family and dogs. Rustic homestay feels like home. The beach is close by and nice places to have a drink like bihns motorcycle and mr Wilson bar. Thank you so much for my time here! Lots of love!

Great stay, wonderful hosts.

The staff here are so friendly, and the space is beautiful. It's outside the town so you get a more authentic experience and get to see an area not many people spend any time in. You will need a motorbike to get around, but that can be rented from the homestay. The food is also good. Our room was really nice, and had a great view. There is also a pool that was recently built. Good value and had a wonderful stay, thank you!

motorbike rentals could have slightly stronger brakes. :)
