The room is cozy though quite old-fashioned. But we had all we need including pretty big place for rest and tea (cattle with tea and coffee in the room). Hot water in the shower with wall between it and toilet Very attentive and helpful personal. We took a driver there for the trip to waterfall and a tea factory. And it was not a problem to keep our backpacks at the reception after checkout time.

Two things: 1) transparent curtains 2) Old-fashioned carpets

the staff was a bit timid and i wasnt sure they understood english very well, however they were very nice in comparison to other sri lankan accomodations we had stayed in, this lacked the homey feel we got everywhere else

Pleasant stay, amazing staff

the staff was very friendly and helped us in every way. one day they even went to the railway station by themselves just to buy train tickets for us. The breakfast was very good, one of the best weve had in Sri Lanka (bread, eggs, lost of fruit, yogurt, coffe). Location is very good as well, just 10min walking to the city center.

The rooms could be a bit more modern - but the bathroom was quite good.
