Good price, the buffet was nice, lots of pools, good view of the ocean

Location > cannot access the beach from the hotel and no restaurants near by besides the hotel restaurant. Ended up spending a lot on taxis. Also our safe didnt work, we asked a couple times for it to be fixed but it never was. Also the property was a bit dated.

Exceptional

The resort exceeded all our expectations, the villa was spacious and really clean, and quite at night, which is really important to us as we are light sleepers. But the one thing this resort excels is the staff. Everyone was always super helpful and kind, especially with our son. They helped us throughout our stay, even without asking. They even invited us for a free new year eve dinner. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Koh Samui.

Perfect to relax after a long flight!

Liked how friendly and accommodating the staff were. They upgraded our room and made us feel at home.

The location was a little far out from the main busy area so meant we either needed to go by taxi or rent motorbike. Easily accessible though and reasonably priced.

Disappointed experience at Baan Hin Sai

Disappointing Experience at Baan Hin Sai Koh Samui I regret to report a unsatisfactory stay at Baan Sin Hai. The advertised images on Booking.com bear little resemblance to reality, appearing outdated and misleading. During our visit, the pool was inaccessible due to severe contamination, with numerous tiles posing a serious injury risk. We could see, that nobody was inside the pool during our stay. The entire hotel complex were marred by garbage, plastic, bottles, and packaging, creating an unpleasant atmosphere. Our bathroom experience was equally disheartening, with mold-infested showers and broken light bulbs scattered along the pathways. Despite alerting the staff to mold in our room, the provided upgrade didn't instill confidence in the hotel's commitment to rectify the issues. Moreover, we were dismayed by the staff's conduct during check-in. Despite our room being prepared earlier, they insisted we wait until 2:00 PM, displaying a lack of flexibility, especially when informed of our need to put our one-year-old to sleep. The breakfast, while budget-friendly, reflected its lower price range. Overall, based on the aforementioned concerns and our disappointing stay, we cannot recommend this hotel. The only positive aspect worth noting was the attention given to my wife's birthday. Despite the overall disappointing experience, the staff acknowledged the occasion, which we appreciated. However, this solitary positive occurrence was overshadowed by the numerous issues that marred our stay. Attached are images depicting the conditions we encountered in December 2023.
