We can not recommend this guest house.

Nothing.

We sent a message that we would be arriving late (1 a.m.) but received no reply. When we arrived the gate was locked. No one responded to our shouting and telephone calls. One of us climbed the 10 ft locked gate. Venturing in a guard dog confronted us. Frozen in one spot I noticed someone sleeping in a porch. After waking him he led us upstairs to the hotel as the lift was not working. At the hotel door we had to wake the night staff who were sleeping on the floor in reception. Their English was very poor but they checked us in - although they clearly were not expecting us. We were given a disappointing room that while accurate to the pictures on booking.com the camera can deceive. we slept the rest of the night and checked out at the earliest opportunity forfeiting one nights accommodation. We do not believe the rating of 7.

Disappointing

Its an okay stay for just a day! Thats all

Tea and breakfast served was quite good. The room was quiet and staff was excellent! They were very friendly and cooperative. Location is really good

The building is pathetic. Its smelly and very dirty. The elevator was not working properly. Room was very old and not very clean. Room and bathroom fittings were old and rusty.

Passable

The room provided for my needs at a reasonable price but it could have been better cared for.

Location was excellent but on an extremely busy road. Internet access was good. It was a spacious room with the facilities I needed. Fridge was a bonus. Air conditioning and fans meant it was cool. It was good value.

I never had breakfast - I asked the first morning for breakfast but unfortunately wasn't able to make myself understood and it wasn't subsequently offered to me. On entry I cleaned all the handles and switches in the room as they were a bit grubby. Was asked to pay for a bottle of water I didn't have. The wardrobe rail was broken so nowhere easy to hang clothes. No iron.

Only favourable was that it's near to US consulate.

Very dirty approach road. Shabby premises. Lift making cranking sound. Facilities weren't up to expectations. Photos displayed on web are excellent. When you locate the property you are in dilemma what to do, whether to occupy or skip.

Good

The location was very close to the US Consulate, just a 10 min walk. My visa got approved! They provided an iron box for ironing my clothes before the interview.

The corridors are very narrow. It looked like a very old building. The lift was of some British era, haha! Nevertheless it's good for a one or two day stay, esp for visa.
