Generally, the hotel was nice but very overpriced for what you get, only one memeber of staff really made us feel specia

The wellness facilities were incredible, both the spa and gym were amazing and we utilised these a lot! The room was also very spacious and the view was great. Really yummy dinner and breakfast too. Lots of choice!

Unfortunately upon arrival, despite three members of staff stood in reception no one was able to help me with our bags which was a real shame for a 5* hotel. Bizarrely also the hotel insisted we have room service on our first night as they had a large table of diners I know this came from a good place as they didnt want us to be disturbed, but I felt the hotel shouldnt have taken our booking if they didnt want us to eat in the restaurant! We felt quite unwanted. Luckily our amazing waiter saved the day with his great help and hospitality.

Beautiful place, poor management, overpriced. You have nothing in the neighborhood snd can not really go out of the prop

The place is beautiful and well maintained. The food was really good. The chalet are big and well equipped.

No alcool, non smocking and no pork according to the religious of the owners. We booked 3 chalet for two families of 4 and one for our grand dad travelling with us. They cancelled last minute a chalet and told us we have to share one for 5 people. Ww had no choice than doing this as there were no available 5stars hotels last minute in the neighborhood. Confort was then reduced and the management was not comprehensive and not nice at all.

Deceptive and immoral A resort that is badged as a wellness concept, which is only a charade for religious belief and

Views of the surrounding landscape.

The resort is funded and owned by the Dawoodi Bohra Trust, a small but wealthy and powerful sect of Islam which actively partakes in female genital mutilation (FGM) of young girls. This only became apparent when we entered the resort and saw certain pictures of the religious founder in our room. We were horrified and though we had booked for three nights we had to leave on moral grounds the following morning. This is not a true representation of Sri Lanka, and has left my husband and I with the only negative memory of this beautiful country.

The location is stunning. Waking up and being able to bask in the sun on the deck looking out onto the hills was breathtaking. We enjoyed the service, the kindness of the staff and the food. The massages we had were phenomenal. We felt relaxed, so comfortable, and it was just what we needed in the middle of our two weeks in Sri Lanka.

It would be nice to have more variety of gluten & soy free options on the menu. What we did eat was delicious. Portion sizes are large or just right. Everything was fresh and tasty. We really enjoyed it!
