Affordable central stay in Melbourne CBD

Great central location in the CBD, located extremely close to the Sky Bus station/Southern Cross Station and free city tram stations. Kitchenette was helpful and the rooms were not noisy. The pillows were also of good quality. It was also great that I was able to leave my bags in storage for a few hours after check out.

The cutlery, dishware and water container were not clean and had lipstick marks on them. There was no information or customer service upon arrival - just given key and room number. The room was slightly smaller and less updated than anticipated but definitely did the job.

Good location, nice room

Sooo disappointed! One day before i left , the cleaners went to clean my room and I went outside for shopping, i came back and surprised that the botton of the light of the bathroom went inside and can't turn on the bathroom light , i went to the receptionist and told her directly , she said yes we gonna fix it ... nothing happened. The next day , im leaving, i surprised that she told me they gonna take the bond which was 100$ cause its my fault , i was surprised and really disappointed cause they think that the cleaners are angels and i did that !! Im so so disappointed and never again ! Rip Off be careful..

The beds were very comfortable and room was very quiet with the double glaze windows. Was New Year Eve so very noisy everywhere. Milk provided too. Very pleased. Good nights sleep Thanks

There was a musty smell first when we walked in and we had to get staff to make up our twin room which was requested on booking. It was made as a double. Staff did this straight away. Happy with this service. We really needed another comfortable chair, the desk chair was always moving and there was only one armchair for two people in room.

Poor staff skills

I have stayed here before but never again due to their unhelpful staff.

Not happy the way I was treated and the way the staff handled the issue. I contracted Covid in the morning of my stay so I didn't want to come and infect others. The hotel could have easily accommodated me on another day as I travel to Melbourne regularly for work but they decided not to do so. They kept carrying in about terms and conditions......... A reputable hotel with good staff skills would have handled the situation differently. They have now missed out of me staying here regularly.
