Akiko Rest is a calm and clean place suitable for groups on a budget. They provide hot water and have no problems with the host. Breakfast is not available and coffee comes at an extra cost. The room (Read More)s have clean attached bathrooms, but some improvements are needed. The common area has a TV, dining table, and sofa. Located 5km outside the city, it offers affordable prices and a nice view. Overall, it is a decent and comfortable place.

Felt like stayed in a friend's house with all facilties and his mom treat you pretty well.

Hospitality, friendly approach and worth for money. She gave very good hospitality, been very friendly. We asked hot water every time while having food, she gave it every time with a smiley face. Transport easily available. Exactly quite opposite to seetha Amman temple. We had to leave the place at 3am, her husband helped us with their car to drop us in the bus stand at very reasonable price. Scenarios are amazing from the room window. On the whole, I recommend the place with confidence and 100% worth the money. Keep up the same customer service mentality, great hospitality and all the best. Irrespective of going to nuwara eliya on my next sri lanka, Will go to akiko Rest.

Basic needs (hot water, bed sheets, and pillows) were fulfilled. It is suitable for budget travelers. Calm location and the owner is supportive.

If you are able please cover the floor using a carpet. The room will be more comfortable.

Rooms and facilities are average, Rooms ad bathrooms was clean. The real owner of the place is friendly and provide the service in a satisfactory level.

Please check before check in because there is a foreign lady who is staying there for a long time, who thinks that she owns this place. You will be disturbed each minute by her saying various things, you won't be able to enjoy the stay if she is there. we value others privacy. Since we also pay for our stay, it is unfair that we are disturbed by the foreigner even we speak to each other and open or close a door. check . .

Just opposite to Seetha Amman temple, nuwara eliya

Clean and big rooms. Comfortable. We wanted to stay nearby Ashok vatika. The Seetha Amman temple is just opposite. Just some 100m walk. The owner was nice person. She had 4 rooms ready and asked us to choose whichever we wanted. When we were there she took her husband for dialysis. Still she attended our call promptly from the hospital and answered all our queries and kept the house ready for us. Those who are pure vegetarians there is a small pure veg restaurant right next to her place. Sri Rama cafe. Her house surrounded by beautiful garden. And the stay was fairly cheaper too.

Fair room for the price

- room is okay for the price. - bed sheets need to change it is looks too old. - car parking is good - the house owner is good and friendly

- the surrounding environment at night very dark and scary - if you travel with infant you cant use that water for washing or cleaning very dirty yellow color water coming - nearly no any food shops or restaurants if you have vehicle in your hand you have to travel 5km to the town eat good food.

Very okayish and basic .will not recommend

Basic facilities only, no towels or handwash. No staff.. had to go for buying even the water bottle to the main road. No person to attend to all the time. No reception. Very costly compared to cost. Also no good restaurants near by. Not a good location

Beds were okay . Room size was also okay .. nothing much to do around. Food was a major issue
