Great place in a convenient location, with wonderful hosts

Clean room, , spacious bathroom with an effective hot shower (much needed in Nuwara Eliya), excellent breakfast and wonderful hosts. Location is only a few minutes walk from Gregory Lake.

Nothing except that I had to leave! Will plan a longer stay here the next time I am in Nuwara Eliya.

A wonderfully homely stay

Our host Ajhit was very kind to us, and getting to stay in his home after quite a harrowing time in our Kandy accommodation was heavenly. They served us tea and breakfast, and when it got really really cold at night they gave so many blankets and even a heater. The room is cosy and smelled of freshly laundered sheets. Our host also helped pick us up himself and later sent us back to Nanu Oya station, which was very kind. The home is also quite conveniently located nearby a bus stop. If Im ever in Nuwara Eliya again, Id love to stay here again.

I felt a bit cold in the bathroom at night when the temperature in Nuwara Eliya plummeted, but I dont think that could be helped much Having the heater eventually did help though! Other than that it was a perfectly clean bathroom.

Friendly homestay

Very friendly hosts in their new place. They even turned on the oven for us to dry clothes and have a warmer home. After the Horten hike in the morning we had a late breakfast which was very yummy - a great coffee too. The place is easy to reach with a tuktuk from the city center.

Great value for money, lovely owner.

The exceptionally helpful owner as well as the wood burner in the separate sitting room area available with the room. Nice breakfast.

A little humid. However, it may just well be Nurawa lya which is much cooler than Kandy, so takes a bit of getting used to at first. The wood burner was a great help.

Great stay with amazing people

For those seeking an authentic experiences in Sri Lanka, this is the place, look no further. The property is located within a short walking distance from Gregory lake. The view is spectacular. The house is situated in a village close to the town, but away from hustle and bustle. I cannot say enough about the hosts, Ajeet and Pria. Beautiful, hospitable, generous, honest, and very kind people. Pria is an excellent cook, we enjoyed our food! Ajeet showed us around, took us on the tour of the area. It was a fantastic day!

We had a pleasant stay at AGP home. Arjit and his family are wonderful hosts. They picked us up and dropped us in town. Arjit helped us a lot with the busses/trains and Priya made a wonderful dinner (and breakfast). All in all we really enjoyed staying there.

Amazing place in a quiet area, yet very close to the city centre. Nice room with everything you need, tasty breakfast and most importantly, an awesome host. I felt like I made a friend in Nuwara Eliya. I will definitely book again here when I come back! Also, if you want information about the area or to make a tour, the owner knows everything: places, people, and could arrange something for you, depending on what you want to see and how much time you have. Could only recommend!

Nice hosts

The hosts are super kind, they help us to arrange a driver to bring the car to ella, so we can take the train. Also explained to us main spots to visit and good restaurant suggestions. Very good breakfast. Also they have blankets for the cold nights

Really loving family, they help you with everything and make sure you have a great time. The room was nice with a large bathroom and living space. Really recommended for a stay in Nuwara Eliya
