Very good food, very nice hosts with lots of recommendations for your stay, good location only a few hundred meters from the fort. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable.

It can be somewhat difficult to find and for older people difficult to climb up from the main market street through the small alleys. It's good that they put paintings along the houses to guide the way.

Homely stay at LG Guest House

I loved my stay at family-run LG Guest House. The host made me feel home from the very start and provided useful info about how to move around the city. The dorm where I stayed was very clean and so was the bathroom. Toilet paper was available. In a nutshell, very good money for value!

Clean Room. Clean Bathroom. Fresh place. Best Value/Money ratio. This place is within walking distance between center and the fort. Suitable for backpakers.

Best Guest House in old city of Jodhpur

The Quietness in the room for us to rest as we are on holiday. As I was travelling alone they provided me comfort & safety which is great for a woman. The way they guide you is fantastic because who doesn't want to save money I followed their itinerary and found some of the best places in Jodhpur.

There is literally nothing that I didn't like.

Comfortable and cosy homestay. Value for money

The overall stay was comfortable, it's a homestay on the foot hill of mehrangarh. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The stay is clean ,comfortable and cozy witn a very nice roof top. I enjoyed the stay very much.

Wonderful Host Family

Located within walking distance of the fort (10-15 minutes up a steep but walkable hill). The restaurant is open all day and serves delicious and cheap food as well as beer. It is located near other guesthouses with their own rooftop restaurants if you want different food. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean. The host family are very welcoming, their son Happiness was who we mainly spoke to and he is quite the cheeky chappy! One of the nicest homestays we've had on our trip.

Being located so close to the fort also means that it is not located in the centre of Jodhpur, but is within walking distance of the clock tower. Also, most autos will refuse to take you to the guesthouse because it is up such a steep hill, so you will likely need to get out at the market and walk 15 minutes unless you arrange an auto with the host. They were happy to do this for us but it wasn't clear in advance that this would be necessary. The bathroom floor also gets very slippery when wet and stays wet for a long time despite using the squeegee provided - one of us slipped over on the first night. These are only minor faults though and we would still whole heartedly recommend.
