Clean, comfortable and homely.

The host took his artsy personality and infused it into this beautiful house - the cleanliness and practicality of this house is on point. The staff is courteous and friendly - would love to stay here again.

Well, it isnt on the property but the government who have created a havoc of the situation of roads here in the name of development. My car had a thick layer of dust and crap in a few minutes of it being parked there. When the construction gets over, the roads will only going to add to the beauty of this place. As of now, come with 30 minutes of spare time just to clear a couple of KMs of trash roads and incessant traffic. No doubt, the property and the host have got nothing to do with it - would still recommend it.

Superb

Comfortable and homely stay

I like the most is staff behaviour and the interior of the room. All the rooms have been given personal touch and theme by the owner. Rooms are clean. Location is also nearby all the prime locations in bhopal. Staff are 24*7 available for you. They have a small kitchen also which one can use for small stuff. Overall it was a comfortable stay.

The toilets are a bit small.

Nice homestay and Friendly staff but poor location and water trouble.

The homestay in itself is beautiful and the suite that we stayed in was nicely decorated. The amenities provided were quite decent. The staff is quite well behaved and polite. The manager, Mr. Rahul and the caretaker were quite helpful. The tea and water bottles provided in the room at the price that they charged was a huge plus.

The location is terrible at the moment.The porch is too narrow for a mid sized SUV or a Sedan. You'd need to park in front of the property, that is marked by a road under construction. My car had a thick layer of dust and a few scratches by the time we left. There was some malfunction in the water tank on the second day of our stay. Despite repeated requests to the housekeeper the problem couldn't be rectified and we had to take cold showers at night and the next morning before leaving which spoiled an otherwise great experience. The taps also ran dry by the time we were leaving further adding to our woes. The lack of hot water during the last week of December was a major pain.

Definitely not a hotel.

The decor.

1. There was no power backup throughout one day. 2. Running water was not stable. We had to inform the staff that there was no water in the taps and they then fixed it. 3. Half the time the electric fittings did not work. 4. We were asked to vacate the rooms before the check out time because their next client had come before time. 5. There was a curfew time by which you had to be within the premises or you were locked out. 6. Only 1 bathing towel was provided with each room even though room was booked with double occupancy. When asked for more towels, we were told they did not have any more towels. 7. Drinking water ran out and we were told to wait for a few hours for it to be delivered by their vendor.

Everything is good, the hosts are wonderful and very helpfull. They were probably the best host and it was best homestay in bhopal even the helpers were very nice and polite, there's nothing not to like about this stay I would recommend this place if you want to have a homely feel.

Amazing

Hands down, one of the best stay experiences I have had. The visit to Aaranya was not planned, I had booked a different hotel, but when I reached there, it was nothing like the pictures. After hopping around looking for a good hotel in Bhopal, I finally found Aaranya and it did not disappoint. Each detail had a lot of thought and heart put into it; everything from the door handles to the tables was custom-built to match with the theme of a forest. The rooms were well-lit and clean; each room had a custom theme; my stay was in a room named 'Gulmohor'. Overall, there were no negative surprises, exactly what you would expect from a good hotel stay; the staff and the owner were respectful and accommodating. The service was great. Also, they have a cab service that can drop you to the airport in the morning. So 10/10 from me.
