Terrible Experience with Your Travel mate – Please Don’t Book with Them!
I recently booked a Udaipur trip with Your Travel mate, and it turned out to be one of the worst travel experiences ever. I’m writing this review to warn others so you don’t face the same disappointment.
From the start, things went wrong. The hotels arranged were completely different from the ones promised during booking — (Read More)they were dirty, unhygienic, and poorly maintained. Rooms were dusty, bathrooms were not cleaned, and the staff had a very careless attitude. When we complained, no one from the company responded or tried to resolve the issue.
The biggest problem was with Saurabh, the owner. Once the payment was made, he stopped answering our calls and messages. Whenever we tried to contact him for help, he simply ignored us. Even in situations where we really needed assistance, he didn’t care at all. It felt like we were left to handle everything on our own.
The tour guide assigned to us was also extremely unprofessional. He didn’t coordinate properly with the group and was very rude in his behaviour. One morning, he left five people behind at the hotel just because they were a few minutes late — without even checking or informing them. This caused a lot of stress and wasted precious time during our trip.
There was no proper planning or communication throughout the journey. Instead of enjoying Udaipur, we spent most of the trip dealing with issues that could have easily been avoided if the company cared about its customers.
Overall, it was a horrible experience — completely opposite of what was promised. The company lacks professionalism, honesty, and basic customer support. Once they get your money, they stop responding and take no responsibility.
I would strongly advise everyone not to book with Your Travel mate or trust Saurabh with your travel plans. Save yourself the stress and choose a company that actually values its customers.
