Dirty rooms, hotels changed,
*Title: Very Poor Experience – Last Minute Changes & No Accountability*
I booked a Spiti Valley tour package with Tourist Point after paying an advance amount. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.
*Key issues:*
1. *Unauthorized hotel change*: Our hotels were changed after the journey started, without prior intimation or consent. The new a (Read More)ccommodation was not as per the standard we booked.
2. *Hygiene concerns*: The rooms provided were not clean and did not meet basic hospitality standards.
3. *No single point of contact*: The coordination was scattered between three different people — Shivani handled the booking, Hansa handled hotels, and Sahil handled on-ground coordination. For any issue, each person blamed the other and no one took ownership to resolve it.
As customers, we expect transparency, commitment to agreed services, and accountability when things go wrong. None of that was delivered.
I would not recommend Tourist Point if you value clear communication and reliable service. I hope the management addresses these operational gaps so future travelers don’t face the same issues.

I booked a Kerala couple tour package with Tourist Point Tour and Travel, and unfortunately, my overall experience was very disappointing.
1. Driver & Vehicle Experience:
The driver provided was unable to understand or speak basic English or Hindi, which made communication extremely difficult throughout the trip. I had clearly mentioned multiple times during booking that I required a driver wh (Read More)o could understand Hindi or English, but this request was completely ignored.
Additionally, I specifically requested a car with full luggage space, as we were traveling with bags. Despite repeated follow-ups (5–10 times), they provided a car with a CNG gas tank that occupied the entire boot space, making it very inconvenient to store luggage.
The driver also did not follow the agreed day-wise itinerary, which further affected our travel plans. Overall, I am very disappointed with both the driver and vehicle service.
2. Hotel Experience:
During the trip, we stayed at 5 hotels. Out of these, only one hotel in Kanyakumari was decent. The remaining hotels were very poor—old properties, unhygienic, and not well maintained.
The hotel in Kovalam was especially bad, with no privacy and a very uncomfortable environment. Overall, the company seems to prioritize very cheap hotels without considering hygiene, basic comfort, or customer experience.
Service & Support:
After the trip started, the Tourist Point Tour and Travel staff became unresponsive and did not provide proper support. Many of the services promised at the time of booking were not delivered.
Value for Money:
The total package cost was ₹45,000, but considering the quality of service provided, it is worth no more than ₹30,000–35,000.
Final Verdict:
A trip is meant to be quality time with family, but this experience was stressful and disappointing. The company appears more focused on maximizing margins and commissions rather than customer satisfaction.

The only good thing that they gave us was a good driver. Even they scolded the driver sometimes when he was showing us some nice things well suited with timmings.
Communication: The Communication lacked consistency and commitment. That is, they told us that they have changed a hotel after the tour was
started! That too when we did not had
any chance to inspect or consider the
choices.
Accomodation: In the itenary they said to give us 3 star hotels but one of the hotels they gave us was 2 star. Which did not had wifi, toilet flush was not working, had (Read More) problems with the staff, even to give water for drinking, insects in the room and more. Also the room decided was triple sharing, but in most cases one person had to sleep on ground.
Itinerary: The places were not odered according to a logical travel path choices. Some places could not be completed because of that. For example a trekking place - Agasthakodam was included for an evening. Which is not possible as it require one whole day!. Thanks to driver he showed us other things nicely.
Value for Money: no satisfaction at all. We demanded a little bit of compensation which they didn't condiered too.
