Here's my feedback and clearly for better understanding by other potential customers and the company "TouristPoint":
---
My Honest Experience with TouristPoint – Not Recommended to anyone.
I recentl (Read More)y booked a tour through April 18-23 TouristPoint, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. Here's a breakdown of what went well and what went wrong during our trip:
Positive Aspects:
Shimla Hotel (HOTEL GREENVIEW): Excellent stay! The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and the service was top-notch. Truly no complaints here—one of the best parts of the trip.
Priyanka (Travel Coordinator): She made efforts to convince and resolve the issue, though the outcome didn’t change much.
Negative Aspects:
1. Hotel in Manali (Hotel Rajhans):
No power backup—our first night was spent in complete darkness.
The rooms were spacious but very old and not well-maintained.
The photos on Google are misleading.
Only positive about the hotel is that it’s near Hadimba Temple.
2. Driver Issues:
The driver was not cooperative, did not follow the itinerary, and skipped several places.
When asked, he dismissed places like Sissu saying “nothing to see there,” which is unacceptable on a paid guided tour.
He didn’t listen to us or the travel company, acting independently throughout.
3. Itinerary Mismatch:
Despite paying in advance, many places listed in the itinerary were not covered.
There was no communication or planning from the company to the driver on daily sightseeing expectations.
4. Unethical Conduct:
On the return journey (April 23rd), the driver refused to move the vehicle in Delhi until we paid the remaining Rs. 1,100, even though we had already paid around Rs. 42,500.
The owner, Mr. Sachin Gupta, insisted we delete our Google reviews instead of solving the actual issue.
The company did not prioritize customer satisfaction, only money and reputation
Suggestions for TouristPoint:
Ensure drivers are professional, cooperative, and aligned with company standards.
Create a daily plan with drivers based on the itinerary shared with customers.
Be transparent with customers—discuss what’s actually possible to cover before finalizing the quote.
Focus on customer satisfaction, not just money.
If a complaint arises, resolve it first instead of blaming customers.
Don't coerce customers to delete genuine reviews.
Final Rating: 1.5/5
While the Shimla hotel stay was outstanding, it doesn’t make up for the poor experience overall. Initially, I even considered recommending this company to two other families—but after what we went through, I no longer recommend TouristPoint to anyon
