Overall, the experience was good, but a few areas require improvement, particularly hotel accommodation, amenities, and food quality.
Regarding transportation, except for the car service on the first (Read More)day, the overall service was satisfactory.
One thing that deserves appreciation is the team's consistent follow-up with guests every day from the beginning of the trip. This proactive approach was really good and made the experience more comfortable.
Overall, it was a good experience, with some scope for improvement in the mentioned areas.
We had a six days and five nights tour which included stay in Kurseong, Takdah and Darjeeling. Saitirtha group arranged the overall program very nicely including stay, local travel and local sightseei (Read More)ng. The overall tour was never felt hectic rather we enjoyed all the places to the fullest extent. The stay in Kurseong and Takdah was awesome on the lap of the Himalayan range hill so close to nature. Though the hotel in Darjeeling can not be compared with other two places but we were shifted to a better room on the next day. We were fortunate to witness the awesome sunrise at Tiger Hill to observe the changing beauty of Kanchenjunga from golden to sparkling silver with the ray of Sun. We enjoyed our evening snacks at Keventer and lunch at Windamere very known to those who are fond of Felu da. We also enjoyed the toy train joy ride. Our way back to Bagdogra via Mirik was the last thing we enjoyed with the mesmerising pass through the pine forest through the Himalayan range. Rathin, Suman and Shramistha from Saitirtha took care of everything and were very cordial with us during the tour. We appreciate Sharmistha’s reaching out to us to check about our comfort every time we reach the new place. Lastly our driver Prashant and Phurba were very helpful. All in all a memorable trip. Based on our experience with them we recommend this group without any hesitation. We wish them good luck to do well in future.
We have completed most of our Gangtok–Pelling–Darjeeling tour and would like to share our feedback.
Positive Points:
Hotels provided were comfortable and clean.
Driver was cooperative and punctual.
(Read More)Major sightseeing points in Gangtok, Pelling and Darjeeling were covered as promised.
Overall trip arrangement was smooth and hassle-free for our family.
Suggestions for Improvement:
Hotel and pickup/drop information should be shared more clearly in advance.
Guests should be informed beforehand if vehicles cannot reach the hotel directly and luggage assistance is required.
Details of sightseeing points included/excluded in the package should be explained more clearly.
Information about entry fees, optional attractions and extra charges should be provided before the tour starts.
Overall Rating: 8.5/10
