Great Destinations & Humble Hotel Staff, but Poor Accessibility Planning & Unprofessional Driver Rating: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5) I recently took a 6-Night / 7-Day tour package to Shimla, Manali, Kullu, and Kasol with my mother. While the destinations were beautiful and the hotels themselves were clean with humble staff and good food, the overall planning, accessibility coordination, and execution by the (Read More) agency were deeply disappointing. 1. Complete Disregard for Accessibility Needs My mother has severe knee issues and uses a wheelchair. Before booking, I explicitly and repeatedly requested ground-floor rooms or fully accessible hotels with no stairs. The agency assured us everything would be handled, but the reality was completely different: First Shimla Hotel "Deepwoods": Located at the very top of Shimla with rough, broken roads. What they called a "ground floor room" actually required climbing more than 10 steep steps. When I raised an issue, the company minimized my concern, asking if it was "really that bad"—forcing me to offer her medical reports just to be taken seriously. Second Shimla Hotel (Welcome Paradise): Although the hotel was nice, it was situated on a steep downward slope with bad roads. The driver couldn't pull up smoothly and made us get out of the car so he could climb the slope with our luggage—blaming our "excessive weight" rather than the undersized vehicle provided. Manali Hotel (SSP Inn): They promised lift access to the room on the 3rd floor, but failed to mention that reaching the reception itself required climbing 20 steps. Note: The hotels chosen were ideal for youngsters looking for scenic views, but completely unsuitable for anyone needing special assistance or mobility support. We chose to stay at the Manali hotel purely because the hotel staff was so genuinely warm, humble, and helpful. 2. Undersized Vehicle & Blame on Luggage I had informed the company beforehand that we needed a car that could comfortably accommodate 2 adults, 2 bags, and a wheelchair. Despite assurances ("Nahi nahi, ho jaega fit"), the vehicle provided for the main tour was too small and sat very close to the ground. Instead of acknowledging the agency's poor vehicle selection, the driver repeatedly complained about "too much weight" in the car throughout the trip. 3. Tale of Two Drivers (Five Stars vs. Extremely Unprofessional) The Delhi–Chandigarh Driver (5/5 Stars): Highly accommodating, polite, and attentive. He guided us well and made the start of the journey seamless. The Shimla–Manali Driver (1/5 Stars): Completely unprofessional. He acted solely as a transport driver rather than a tour driver. Knowing it was our first time visiting, he offered no guidance or information. He was rude, played music loudly for himself while ignoring passengers, and rushed to drop us at the hotel by 4:00 PM–5:00 PM every day. When we asked to explore sight-seeing spots, he would brush us off saying, "Ab kuch nahi hai dekhne ke liye, we will do it some other time." It felt like he just wanted to avoid driving and keep us in the hotel. That too, he would drop us off and just go out by himself. Verdict The hotel staff at all three properties were lovely, and the initial driver was great. However, as a tour agency, turning a blind eye to explicit mobility needs and assigning an unhelpful, reluctant driver ruins the experience. I strongly advise anyone traveling with elderly family members or requiring special assistance to double-check details directly with hotels and vehicles yourself rather than trusting this company's promises.

We woul (Read More)d like to clarify that we were not at all aware that your mother is in a wheelchair. As you demanded ground floor rooms during confirmation time, we said yes, and accordingly we arranged. We thought she may not be able to walk many stairs. If we know that she had not even been able to walk a stair, we never recommend you a deluxe hotel. It was totally fault of our sales executive side who took this matter lightly, during trip time when updated then in Shimla We changed hotel on the second day and in Manali we also agreed to change but you adjusted there because of staff humbleness. We totally accepted it was our executive's fault who gave you surety that rooms would be on the ground floor; after talking to him, he said that ma'am muje lga thoda bhot chlte honge.

Undersized Vehicle & Blame on Luggage
As you were only 02 members Sedan cab is much enough for 02 person Wheelchair and bags can be adjustable on the Carrier, and "too much weight" Ma’am with 04 person many times we gave Sedan cab they also carry 04-05 bags still we never get complaints.

Tale of Two Drivers (Five Stars vs. Extremely Unprofessional)
For driver we also apologies if he makes you feel uncomfortable during tour time, we definitely will talk to transporter and never will give him any tours next time.

You are rating 1 star here and adding Pros NOTHING Cons EVERYTHING, So if you really faced issues in the trip just mention here, your (Read More)trip was gone very smoothly from first day to last day and we have booked above 3 star hotels as we mentioned on the itinerary at the end, and cut our balance payment 1840/- even though we didn't ask for that remaining amount, Because there was a sightseeing that was mistakenly mentioned by our sales executive, even though we mailed you and Holidify was on CC, your trip was exactly finished according to that mail. Customers like you if small issues faced ready to put reviews even after taking all services we would suggest you better to explain particular reasons.

Sorry to say this but your review didn’t affect us negatively but helped us to improve further.

We had an amazing, perfectly organized trip with Royal Adventure Tours. Every detail—from the seamless transfers to the comfortable hotels—was handled professionally, and special thanks to our guide, Monica, for ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish. It was a completely stress-free experience, and we highly recommend them for a memorable, hassle-free holiday!
Our only minor complaint was at one hotel, where the vegetarian and non-vegetarian food sections were not placed well, causing some confusion.
