Single day trip to Amboseli National Park involves a long drive from Nairobi on some smaller roads with lots and lots of trucks meaning traffic. (Read More)
The drive is far for a one day trip but stops are well timed and bathrooms and snacks are available for purchase.
The safari 4x4 Van is perfect. Happy I with with cheaper Van option instead of Land Cruiser Jeep. Plenty of space and comfortable seats made the drive easier. And open roof top made for fantastic 360 viewing options during Amboseli.
I would suggest to do a 2 day trip instead of 1 day return to break up the driving. Tour guide was nice and friendly. Amboseli had great animal viewing and a diverse landscape plus views of Kiliminjaro mountain.

We visited Ol Pejeta Conservancy, which is an amazing park filled with breathtaking wildlife. We saw so many rhinos, and Linus worked tirelessly to ensure we spotted a lion, which was a truly magical moment.
Our accommodation at Sweetwaters Camp was seamlessly arranged, and the service was outstanding throughout our stay. We were so impressed with the entire experience that we booked an additional day safari to Nairobi National Park, the elephant orphanage, and the giraffe center.
