He has the ability to put together exactly what you want and provided helpful guidance and logistic assistance along the way. Once we arrived, our trip was seamless and he was always available and responsive to any questions that we had during our time there and checked in on us frequently. We felt very strongly that we were working with a compassionate person that had our best interests at heart, not a corporation who plans a trip for you and wishes you good luck. Highly recommend Gurmukh. From the outset he was responsive, detailed and very knowledgeable. We had a wonderful trip to Maasai Mara and it was all organized exceptionally well. We , a group of classmates from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune , who just turned 60, decided to take the Kenya Tanzania safari with our spouses. Gurmukh Singh of The Kenya Travels was there with (Read More) us "in letter and spirit" all through the planning and during the safari. Gurmukh being an Indian and Kenyan was also useful. He took care of every need ( including some tasty snacks loaded in our safari vehicles)and was there sorting out our game drives with care and attention so that we don't miss out sighting the "Big five" and the great wildebeest migration. This trip of 2019 to Kenya/Tanzania will be etched in our memories for many years. Strongly recommend The Kenya Travels.
This was our first family trip to mainland Africa and we had decided to focus our visit on Tanzania. Obviously, the safari was to be the highlight of our visit and on our radar were Tarangeri, Manyara (Read More), Ngorongoro and, of course, Serengeti. When I first spoke to Gurmukh Singh at MyKenya Travels I immediately had a sense of comfort and as we discussed possible options in the days and weeks prior to the trip his genuineness, warmth and flexibility shone through. He was always available for us and no adjustments were too difficult for him. This continued after we commenced the trip, starting from his making the effort to come and meet us at 8 am on a Sunday before we left Nairobi for Arusha! Throughout the trip, which was magical and seamless, he was in touch with us every day ensuring that everything was going as planned. Our driver Izaak, again arranged by MyKenya Travels, was experienced, flexible, friendly and quite wonderful in his knowledge of the terrain and the fauna inhabiting it. We are now full to the brim with the amazing beauty and wildife of Tanzania. Gurmukh arranged a variety of accommodation, from amazing lodges to tented camps and also ensured that we were able to witness the annual migration in it's full flow and splendour.
