Trip to Shimla

Nothing to like , just polished marketing
I am writing to lodge a serious complaint regarding the unacceptable treatment and poor services provided during my Manali tour booked through Meet My Holiders. Initially, we were promised accommodation at The Town Ville, Manali, but upon arrival, we were shifted to Pasori Hotel without any prior notice or consent. This itself was a clear case of misrepresentation and breach of commitment. In ad (Read More)dition to this, a very disturbing incident occurred today. We were asked to check out from Pasori Hotel at around 9:30 AM and were instructed to move to The Town Ville. However, after reaching there, we were left waiting outside the hotel for several hours without being provided a room. Even now, proper accommodation has not been arranged. At one point, we were temporarily given a room only to keep our luggage and were told to leave again. This caused unnecessary inconvenience and mental stress to my family. Furthermore: There was no responsible person available at the reception for a long period. When a staff member finally arrived at around 11:30 AM, instead of helping resolve the issue, he behaved aggressively and said words to the effect of "If you want to fight, I am ready." The behaviour of the hotel management, booking team, and sales staff has been highly unprofessional and disrespectful. Despite multiple complaints from our side, we have only been told that we must "adjust" with the situation. We have suffered loss of valuable vacation time, inconvenience, harassment, and mental distress due to the poor management and false commitments. This level of service is completely unacceptable and falls far below the standards promised at the time of booking. I request immediate intervention and a written response regarding: Why the promised hotel was not provided initially. Why we were made to wait for hours without accommodation. Why hotel staff behaved aggressively and unprofessionally. What compensation/refund will be provided for the inconvenience, harassment, and service failures. If this matter is not resolved immediately, I will be compelled to escalate the issue to the appropriate consumer protection authorities, tourism authorities, and online grievance platforms, along with supporting photographs, videos, and communication records. I expect a prompt resolution.

The hotels and hotel staff was very good everything thinkg was superb including meals hotels staff etc
The tempo traveller driver company provided was worst he made our trip bad, very harsh driving, sleeping while driving the car, very rude to everyone and following only his things and complain us to do that not listen to our things at all The driver provided to us made our trip worst rest everything was best

Manali hotel was very beautiful. Sales person Gauri was very supportive thought the trip.(But couldn't resolve our issue)
You can use the following detailed review/feedback: Writing Meet My Holiders (MMH) – Detailed Feedback My overall experience with Meet My Holiders was disappointing and frustrating. While the destinations themselves were beautiful, the lack of support from the MMH team and the behaviour of the driver significantly impacted our family trip. 1. Driver Behaviour – Biggest Concern The driver's (Read More)rude and unprofessional behaviour was the biggest issue throughout the trip. He appeared frustrated most of the time and rarely listened to our questions or concerns. He did not provide proper information about sightseeing locations, timings, or activities. Due to poor guidance and communication, we missed visiting Sissu, which was one of the places we were interested in. The driver was constantly coughing during the journey without wearing a mask, making passengers uncomfortable. I reported this concern to the MMH team, but I did not even receive a courtesy response. 2. Lack of Support from MMH I raised multiple complaints during the trip, but MMH failed to provide effective support. It appeared that MMH was entirely dependent on the local travel agency and had very little control over the actual trip experience. Whenever issues were reported, there was little ownership or effort from MMH to resolve them. Instead of supporting the customer, the team often seemed to defend the driver's behaviour. 3. Vehicle and Driver Arrangement MMH initially promotes its own vehicles and services, but for larger families they appear to arrange external vehicles and drivers. When I raised concerns about the driver's conduct, I was told that he behaves similarly with all customers, which I find difficult to believe and not an acceptable justification. 4. Sales and Communication Issues There was significant confusion due to a typo/error made by the sales team regarding payment terms. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, the matter was handled poorly. Roshni Ma'am's communication during this discussion was rude and unhelpful. The situation could have been resolved much more respectfully and professionally. 5. Additional Expenses and Hidden Practices We were not informed that drivers may take tourists to specific shops or activity vendors where they likely receive commissions. The driver repeatedly encouraged visits to particular locations without explaining alternative options. I independently booked some adventure activities and managed to save almost 50% compared to the rates being suggested. During the Rohtang trip, the driver took us to specific rental and activity booking points where snow dresses and activities cost us approximately ₹400 extra per person compared to other available options. Greater transparency from MMH regarding these arrangements would have been appreciated. 6. Hotel Experience Manali Hotel The hotel in Manali was very good. Staff were courteous and supportive. Rooms were comfortable. Although the location was away from the main city, it offered beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. Shimla Hotel The Shimla hotel, which is owned/managed by MMH, was located in a very congested area. Hotel staff were helpful and supportive. However, the location was not convenient for families with luggage. 7. Last Day Travel Issue On the final day, the driver refused to take the vehicle up to the hotel parking area. It was raining, and we had luggage along with a strict schedule to reach Chandigarh for our train and later catch our flight from Delhi. MMH was unable to convince the driver to assist us. Eventually, the hotel staff stepped in and offered help. This incident added unnecessary stress at the end of the trip. Positive Mention Gauri from the sales team was the only person who genuinely tried to help and address concerns. Unfortunately, it appeared that the rest of the team was either unwilling or unable to improve our experience despite repeated complaints over 5–6 days. A family vacation should be enjoyable and stress-free. Unfortunately, due to poor driver behaviour, lack of customer support, communication issues, and additional unexpected expenses, our experience with Meet My Holidays was far below expectations. I would strongly recommend that MMH improve driver management, customer complaint handling, and transparency regarding local arrangements before I could consider using their services again.
