We as a group of 18 family members opted for Goa stay and local sightseeing through Garalex Solutions and tour expert who did all the co-ordination was "Gauri Kumari" and stayed at "Poonam Village Res (Read More)ort, Goa" for three days.
Below were her false commitments:
3 star resort -- Its a guest house
5 Deluxe AC rooms -- We got only 2 Deluxe and 3 Standard rooms.
1 Mineral water bottle per room per day -- We got only filtered water and resort told they don't provide mineral water to any rooms
Buffet Breakfast and dinner -- We got both meals with limited options
Amenities: No hot water facility or dedicated tap, no room service, no toiletries for none of the rooms
Throughout the trip, we complained about these issues to Gauri. She promised that she would address everything but no resolution was provided for anything.
Post trip when I sent an email asking response and probable refund for difference in room price(Deluxe vs Standard), food(buffet vs limited options) and lack of proper service (hot water, drinking water), her reply was as below
1. If you type Poonam Village Resort Goa . The Google will show you a 3 Star Property . I don't know is the Google showing wrong information or some misunderstanding happened from your End.
2. Seeing your requirement and the dates ... the Poonam Village resort was full but as per our request they have allotted the rooms in special request
3.The Reception told us there was no complain came to them as No hot water.
4. As mentioned by you that have spent Rs.740 /- approximately for 37 bottles. I think No hotels even 4 Star Property will give you free 37 mineral water bottles for your personal usage.
5. There is No question of Refund of money . Whatever you provided we have given more Service according to it .
Want to prompt everyone to be cautious when approaching this agency for any trip commitments AND IF THE TOUR EXPERT IS GAURI KUMARI.

Good they managed each and every thing. I am happy if my hotel is booked in Munnar town instead of 34 Kms behind from munnar. But overall good.

It was a nice trip for 2 days covering the local sightseeing of Kochi, Athirapally Waterfalls and Cherai beach. Our travel agent Alex (from Garalax) was well behaved and very helpful. The cab drivers (Read More)for both days were also very well behaved. The booked hotel (Mermaid) was also nice with complementary breakfast.
Though each and every service was to the expectation, we think the package rate is slightly over-priced.
