Enzi Safaris Ltd was established in 2005 by two great Tanzanian Adventurous. As they were crisscrossing the great country of Tanzania they explored, learned, and had fun at the same time, this is what drove them to start a tour company to share with the world their experience, fun and memories.
‘Enzi’ is a Swahili word which means ”Once Upon a Time” and the main objective of its establishment is to bring the past adventurous experience to life through holiday packages.
Enzi Safaris is a company established on the premise that travel, be it for business or pleasure should be fun, adventurous and memorable. At the same time through travel, we are able to experience a whole world of different perspectives, cultures, Traditions, belief systems, languages, foods and architectural designs of villages (like Maasai Villages). This is what we aim to deliver for you; a travel experience of a lifetime every time you travel with us, be it for leisure, honeymoon, family holiday or business travel. We had an amazing experience with Alli and his tour guide crew! From start to finish, the trip was well organized, memorable, and made even better by the incredible guides. Everyone we encountered was (Read More) friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about the Serengeti wildlife. They truly showed respect and appreciation to the land and animals.
A special shoutout to Lamomo, who was fantastic! His knowledge and ability to spot wildlife were seriously impressive, and he always took the time to explain what we were seeing and answer our questions. You could tell he genuinely enjoys sharing his knowledge and making sure guests get the most out of the experience. Having a guide who knows the landscape and wildlife so well made a huge difference.

Enzi Safaris provided our group with an unforgettable experience in Tanzania. We were a group of 15 travelers from the United States, divi (Read More)ded among three safari vehicles and assisted by three extremely knowledgeable guides. Keeping each group small gave everyone space, a good view, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
Our safari took us to both the northern and central Serengeti. In the north, we were fortunate to witness the Great Migration, including the extraordinary sight of wildebeest crossing the Mara River. In the central Serengeti, we encountered an even greater variety of wildlife. Experiencing these two distinct areas gave us a much fuller appreciation of the Serengeti and its remarkable ecosystem.
Our guide, Kinaru, was knowledgeable, professional, patient, and clearly passionate about Tanzania’s wildlife and natural environment. He helped us understand not only what we were seeing, but also animal behavior and the relationships among the species and their habitats. The other guides assisting our group were equally capable and ensured that all three vehicles received an excellent experience.
Enzi Safaris is a Tanzanian-owned company operated by the husband-and-wife team of Ally and his wife. Ally is not merely a distant owner; he is actively involved in the company and the experiences it provides. That local ownership and hands-on leadership were major strengths. When choosing a safari company, travelers should look for experienced local guides, small group sizes, strong knowledge of wildlife and the region, and owners who are personally invested in the quality of each guest’s experience. Enzi Safaris demonstrated all of these qualities.

We saw the wildebeest migration shortly after arriving in the Serengeti — talk about starting with a bang! It was one of those once-in-a-lifetime moments that none of us will forget. And the safari just kept delivering from there — incredible wildlife, beautiful landscapes, and one amazing experience after another.
I also love that Enzi is a locally owned Tanzanian company, operated by Ally and his wife. An incredible experience AND the opportunity to support a local Tanzanian business? Yes, please.
Kilimanjaro, Serengeti, Zanzibar — Enzi made it happen. I’d travel with them again in a heartbeat. And given the amount of travel I seem to keep planning, Ally should probably consider that a warning. 😂
I cannot say enough good things about Enzi Safaris. We stayed at Mara Mara and Kubu Kubu Tented Lodges in Tanzania, and from the second they picked us up at the Serengeti airstrip until they dropped u (Read More)s at the airport in Dar es Salaam, everything was taken care of. They even sorted out our ferry booking for us, which I honestly did not expect.
Our guides were incredible. Knowledgeable, professional, and just genuinely good people who clearly loved what they do. They even arranged a stop at a Maasai boma because I mentioned I was interested, and we ended up dancing with the community, learning about their traditions, and buying some beautiful handmade pieces straight from them. That afternoon was one of the highlights of the whole trip.
Ally, the owner, is the reason this trip felt so special. He personally handled our ferry, made sure the lodge and airport staff treated us right, and checked in with us constantly just to make sure we were good. By the end of the week he genuinely felt like family, not like someone running a business.
